So Lately I've been into old Rise Against stuff and as expected people thought I was just a poser retard listening to mainstream stuff.

But really that's not true. I like alot of less popular bands and stuff like that, but I think there's way to much of a burden on people who like main stream punk these days. I like to get a good mix of both main stream and underground/non-mainstream stuff. But I think if you only like mainstream punk, no body has the right to make fun of you. Cause it all leads to age old discussion of is it right to purecute someone for their own opinions/tastes.

So I was just wondering what people had to say on this? Is it okay to listen to pop. punk? Is it a bad thing? Are you gonna be one of those people that b***h about people being conformists? surprised
