-Rules-
Literates Only. This means all posts must be written in story format. More substantial posts are preffered, but not necassary. It is also preffered that you have a method of differentiating between which character you're currently playing as (for example, color) but again, not required.
No Godmodding. No characters that are the ultimate at magic and win every battle before it begins. If you think that a character should, for some reason, be able to do something, post OOC and poll the people. I'd say PM me, but I don't think it should be my decision alone, but that of ALL the people playing, so post. ;3 Which brings me to my next subject....
Mark any OOC talking/questions.This is simple enough- simply use some mark ((this fore example)) so that OOC and roleplaying posts will be notably sepparated. This isn't required until after the Roleplay has started, but once it HAS, please do so at all times, EVEN IF YOU AREN'T A MEMBER YET!
All players must take on at least ONE Harry Potter MainI'm not worried about Yugioh characters- obviously people are going to want to play them. But to have the rp go well, we need people on both sides of the story, INCLUDING the harry potter characters. And frankly, being EVERYONE would overwhelm me. Please pick characters you feel you can play well, and if there's more then one, I encourage you to choose more. You can request a character not on the list (it is, after all, by no means thorough) but if its too minor of a character, I'll have to ask you to get a main one as well. Trust me when I say this rule is for the good of the rp!
Stay as in-character as possible. This should be an obvious one, but its important enough for me to put it.
Treat other players with respect!Don't flame people. If you feel they're doing something wrong, point it out politely. This isn't to say if someone's typing "lik ths lol!" or playing a character in what you feel is an innaccurate way you have to shut up about it, but point it out in a polite manner.
More rules may be added as I think of them. :3
Rule Breaking. If you break a rule, I will give you a warning. Three warnings- even over sepparate things- and you will be kicked out of the roleplay, no matter how key a character you play. So obey the rules!
Reporting/Pointing out Rule BreakingIf you feel someone's doing something wrong, you have the right to point it out in a polite manner. People may then agree or dissagree. Depending on how judgemental the decision is, whether or not they'll get a warning will be either a group decision or my own. (For example, I can warn someone for bad typing skills easily. How well they play a character, however, is more of a grey area and will be a group consensus.)
Of course, I'm sure everyone here is already an excellent roleplayer. These are just precautions.
And yes,
I can be warned/kicked off too. ;P So feel free to say so if you think I'm doing something wrong.
