I was wondering if anyone knew any good anarchist/punk authors. The only one I know is Carlton Mellick III. He's a great author.
I need more stuff too read.

The only punk authors I know of are Brad Warner and Noah Levine. Both of them did books about Buddhism and how it relates to the punk scene and whatnot. I am not too sure you'd be interested in that.
I do however know that this website:

has a bunch of books on the punk scene and there's probably a book or two in there about Anarchy.

if youre gonna go for authors there are huge a** lists everywhere. just google anarchist authors on google
i hope that you can get your hands on socialism without state: anarchism by mikhail bakunin.
and there are a million other authors, i just dont care right now sorry. google it.

Read Behold a Pale Horse by William Milton Cooper. I swear, this guy probably talks a lot of bullshit but he's extremley smart and he'll get you to look differently at the world. Lots of legend surrounding the book too; Cooper died "mysteriously" in his home a week after it was published.
"You have no doubt heard the story: Once upon a time, under the Nazi regime in Germany, a man worked on an assembly line in a baby carriage factory. His wife was going to have a baby, but the Nazi government would not let anyone buy a baby carriage. The man decided he would secretly collect one part from each department and assemble the carriage himself. When this was done he and his wife gathered up theparts and assembled it. When they were finished they did not have a baby carriage; then had a machine gun."

I really like the work that stephen colegrave and chris sullivan do together.
Its really good.
Henry Rollins has written some really good stufF
John Cooper Clarke
A lot of fanzine writers, even though they now get little credit, have some really good work.

PL3453_K1LL_M3 @Schizorain: That Joker guy seems . . . interesting. I looked around that site. Hes got some cool shirts. I found the site in one of my dad's motorcycle catalogues a few years ago. The book just came out this year though.
Off-Topic: Wicked Jester shirts are awesome quality. All of mine still are in really good shape. Some are a little faded due to years of wear, but no rips, the lettering is still perfect. Tis nice.

You might want to check out ' Keep the apidistra flying' by George Orwell. I am still reading it but it's pretty good so far. It's about a writer and his struggles with money and being lower class.

It's a book for Nihilists. And it's not illegal. It's red-flagged, which means you can buy it, but you're placed on some sort of list in the White House. I don't quite know the details. You can also find it and similar guides online.

Speaking of the cookbook, I heard about this book recently, "Recipes for Disaster: An Anarchist Cookbook", apparently it teaches you how to turn a bike in to a record player! AMAZING!
