Welcome all to Aikichii's Fix it Shop

Ever wonder and confuzzle yourself on what to do when your computer is acting all funky? Not sure who to ask or where?

Well look no furthur biggrin

Here you can post all sort of problems ranging from computer problems to car problems. Also I will be putting up updates and reviews on recent new technology.

As am I! ^^ Wicked! Now I don't have to worry about Information and Computing Technology class so much. xd Great idea; I take it anyone's allowed to ask for help and anyone's allowed to help out others?

Yup thats the general idea to it but its not only limited to comps it can also be cars since I have been working on them for four years now.

Yup thats the general idea to it but its not only limited to comps it can also be cars since I have been working on them for four years now.
Aah, wow, alrighties, sounds good. I help my dad out in the garage on the triumph and old Ariel from time to time, so I can help with bike problems too.

well, I'll be your first customer... I've got this ... well I wouldn't call it old.... more like "ancient" motherboard with an Intel III processor... I got me some extra RAM and, when it didn't start at all... I freaked out...
A friend of mine sort of fixed it but now it won't load up the system but randomly....

Question: should I change Motherboard and / or processor or is there something else I'm missing and am just looking for excuses to get a new computer?

It depends on what your mother board is capable of. If its really really old and only supports pentium 3 processor as its max then I say its time for a new MOBO and processor. It can be a pain in arse because it depends if your case can be fitted with a new one, not to mention what ever operating system is. If you can try to give me the system specs of your computer so I can help you in more detail.

Hmmm I'll look for this prgram that scans your comp specs. But I think its in the software list I posted if not then Ill go google it.
