Seeing as how we have a lot of members in this Guild, I’m hoping this will turn out satisfactorily.
At one point or another in their life, everybody writes. From the amateur to the experienced, if you’re looking for a place to post your works of literature, look no further.
Our Purpose
A. To provide a place for people to post original works of literature, (prose, poetry and plays).
B. To provide a place for people to discuss works of literature, (published or otherwise).
C. To provide a place for writers to get constructive criticism on their work, (if they’d like it).
Rules of the Thread
1. No chat speak. If you have moderately bad grammar, you can come in, but no, “im 1337 aNd j00 r pwn3d!!1!”.
2. Constructive criticism means be constructive. Don’t say things just to be an a**.
3. No bumping. Period.
4. Only post original work, unless you’re providing an example of another author in order to further a discussion about said author, (in which case, give credit where credit is due).
5. All work belongs to those who wrote it, and may not be reproduced unless you’re given permission, and under no circumstances are you to steal it. Doing such will lead to banning from the Guild, and possibly from Gaia itself.
Posting Guidelines
When posting, please state the name of your piece, and whether or not you’d like comments about it, somewhere clearly at the top.
Beyond that, I hope this will prove to be successful and will show some talent from the members of the OOG. If not, I’ll be sorely disappointed.
*Shame on you.*
