((Sorry about the delay)) It has been another week since Bolt went to visit Amethyst. He returned to the HQ without her, explaining to everyone that she just needed some alone time. Very little of this is on the mind of our heroes, however, as they are currently being swarmed by some of the largest rats they've ever seen.  A - Approx 16 ft long. B - Approx 8 ft long. C - Approx 4 ft long. D - Approx 2 ft long. It has been a difficult battle already. You've all suffered the following damage (all bruises) Pulverizer - 1 Starbright - 2 Bolt - 3 Johan, although present, has already been taken down. It's Mercy's turn.

Mercy, apparently unsuffering from the standard girlish squeemishness regarding rats, has been busily 'porting about in flashes of light.
As has been her target the entire fight, she appears above the largest rat and lands a white-hot glowing boot into it's head.
((+11 to hit/10 L Damage Strike, -10 penetrating))

How did our heroes find themselves in such a predicament? It all started with a news report of unusually large rats coming up from the sewers and attacking people.
Starbright hits the rat, injuring it a bit, but not a lot.
Pulverizer's turn.

When the group went to investigate, killing off a few, it seems the others were angered.
All four are smashed pretty well, falling to the ground. The big one takes some damage as well, not unconcious but nearly so.
Bolt, your turn.

Ow, ow, ow...
*stands among a pile of fried rats as he lets them electrocute themselves on his body, which is wreathed in an aura of electrical currents like a man-sized bug-zapper*
I sure hope these rats aren't diseased!
*extends his left arm and points at one of the 8 foot long rats, sending an arc of white-hot lightning in its direction*
