Yes, seems to be the same with me....lol.
But I guess my absolute favorites would be Gone Forever, Riot, Wake Up...and here I go listing just about all the songs again...lol...

lol. But TDG is not my favorite band. I like a lot of other bands too. God. I cant even name all the songs i like form TDG. I like to many xp

Yeah same here. One-X, in my opinion, is a bit better than their self titled, but then again, you DO improve over the years...
It's just so hard to choose your favorite songs from a few of your favorite bands ya know?

Both Cd's are great...... ive listened to the new cd many times .... its odd the lyrics are emo lol but its so good...!!!!!

I walked 30 minutes to my local Target to get One X the day it came out. I was so excited for it. domokun
I also got to see them in concert! I definately recommend:
a) Checking out some of their live videos. Check YouTube!
b) Seeing them in concert. They were SWEET live.
That being said, they are my favorite band. I can barely choose a favorite, so I'll mention 4 of my favorites from each album...
Three Days Grace
"Wake Up" - Freakin' awesome... I totally love this song. I was listening to it after my boyfriend broke up with me... It sorta connected with me in a way. He turned out to be an a*****e, and I still sort of harbor a bit of anger at him, even though, almost 6 months later, I am happy and have a wonderful new boyfriend.
"Just Like You" - The song that got me into Three Days Grace. I loved the video. Barry's mohawk totally caught my eye and the setup of the WHOLE video was pretty sweet. I can also totally relate to it; There's so many people in my life who I don't want to be anything like. It most strongly reminds me of my father, who as much as I love him, is everything I don't want to be.
"Take Me Under" - I love this song. It was one of the songs that first caught my ear when I first listened to the album... I don't know why exactly. A few people think that the song relates to sex. In all honesty, I think it's about more than that. I've always seen it as relating to someone wanting to commit suicide. Their dreams are gone, and they feel like they have nothing to live for, so their just waiting for something to take them away from this life. That’s what I get from the lyrics and overall feel of the song.
"Drown" - Love this song! I can relate. I’ve had times where I’ve felt like I was alone, and all my friends had disappeared. I love the chorus: “If I need someone to control me, If I needed someone to hold me down... I would save myself before I drown”. I think it’s about living your life for yourself, and really just being who you are and not letting anyone change it.

"Never Too Late" - I LOVE this song. I can definitely relate to it! It really hit home with me. I've known a couple of people who have either threatened to commit suicide or who have tried, and I think that this song is a really good message to them: It's never too late.
"Pain" - Awesome song, and it's their next single. I think that the meaning of it can be viewed in several ways, and that's another thing I LOVE about Three Days Grace - a lot of their music can be interpreted in different ways...
"Riot" - This song is just awesome! It's just got an angry, anthemic feel to it... Great song to listen to when you're pissed off.
"Get Out Alive" - This song wasn't one of my favorites when I first heard it, but it QUICKLY grew on me. It's got a great melody, lyrics and everything else... It's just a great song. I would love it if someone asked the members of the band on some sort of 'fans ask questions' thing (such as ROCKLINE) what "Get Out Alive" is about... I'd love to hear about the song from the band's perspective. biggrin
