Have you ever doubted God? or been frustrated and wondering if he really was there and listening to your prayers?
What are the times like when you find yourself asking, if you do. "Is he listening?" or even.. "Is there a God?"

I find alot of people that doubt God, but are afraid to admitt it...

I will admitt that in my past there have been times, when my life seemed to be going down and nothing would be right... and i found myself wondering if he heard my prayers, or if he was really listening and just ignoring me...
More recently i've not thought this, but it has happened..

Just yesterday I was thinking about stuff and I thought that you I had found proof that God didn't exist, I don't know what it is, I think it had to do with something in the bible. eventually I decided that there is more proof that I could think of that proved his existance than disproved.

Doubt is really common. Sometimes I'm so sure of God and other times I'm not. There are lots of good books from other people who have had questions if you really question whether or not God is real.

i've known people who say "If you can't see him, and you can't touch him, and there is no direct proof that he exsists how can you believe in him?" i know alot more who say "Only weak people who need someone to guide them and only people who need someone to use as an excuse believe in God." That one upsets me...
I don't know how people could say such a thing, event hough i know the strongest believers have thought that.

I have doubted God in the past. But I was soon revealed the truth in my heart and I no longer doubt God. Whenever I feel that God has not heard prayer I simply wait, find a simple explanation and pray again.

Just to tell you, God will never ignore a prayer sent to him.

Sadly, i know thats quite true. He answered a prayer of mine... even though i'm pretty sure he didn't want to. And he shouldn't have... but he will always listen. ^_^

I think a lot of the time "What if there is no after life? What if I won't meet my dead friends and family again?" I'm afraid there isn't, but I try and hang on to my belief.

That can be a scary thought. What do you do to try to hang on to your belief? When I think that there might not be an afterlife, I read stories about people who have seen somebody after they died. I especially like stories of people who didn't know the person had died until they saw them, or stories where they're told something they couldn't know any other way and it turns out to be true.

It's scary to think of no life after death, especially if you miss someone who has died. There are lots of stories out there, though, that make you think we must have a life after death.

I believe there is something after death. A place the souls go maybe. I don't know if we know we are there, or what is feels like... but i do know that people live on through memory even after death, and our souls all go somewhere, and even if we don't realize it, our souls are all together with our loved ones. I could never live on without having that belief. Knowing there is something, and not just, we die and rot there... is really important to me.
If that makes sense.

I doubted God untill he answered one of my prayers.
Now, whenever I start to doubt him again, I remember that he did listen to me and he did make my life better.
I know he's up there.

After my experiences at church camp this past week, I know that I can never truly doubt the existance of God.
