What do you believe in? It doesn't have to be a religion, just state what you believe in and why.

okay, religiously, i am a wiccan. i have been pagan since the fifth grade, and wiccan for almost nine months or so. well, i've always half called myself wiccan, but been a little iffy on if i *have a right*... now, i feel ready to call myself wiccan and proud! i believe in wicca for one of two reasons; because someone out there has put alot of my beliefs into an easily remolded package that i feel i will always appreciate, or because i am psycho and feel things that aren't there. but either way, i'm in it for the loong haul. but anyways, i have felt the energies of the universe, and of other people, in ways that are simply undeniable in my eyes and are best explained by wiccan explaination. i just think that this is a hard question to be the first to answer and don't know what to say stressed

I was raised Jewish, and for the most part, I still am - I go to services, I keep kosher, etc. However, I am also constently studing other religons and schools of thought. What I like, I keep (ie: rebirth, herb lore), what I don't, I don't use for myself (ie: fasting more then once or twice a year).

I generally consider myself a Celtic traditionalist Neopagan. I have some beliefs coinciding with the old Celtic religions, such as the belief in a tri-faceted goddess....However, I do have an interest in the manipulation of energy (magic) and such things not found in the old religion, thus the Neopagan. I believe in reincarnation especially. Also, we determine our own fate, though certain entities (such as deities and other spirits) either help or hinder us along our way. Lastly (for now), I believe in faeries. heart The Elfa

I was rasied In A baptist family. However at the age of 15 I became very disenchanted with christianity. For two years I walked the earth as an Athiest. Untill I found A religion i can call my own. I have no idea what it's called. But it puts me at peace knowing I have 6 Elements watching over me... I also belive that if you put your heart, mind, And body into it. Anyone can do ANYTHING. Thats right. ANYTHING!

religiously, I've been a wiccan since seventh grade, but I haven't been fully willing to practice until I turned 18, when no one can legally stop me from practicing. When I started to show interest in the whole idea, my best friend got me a book about it, and it changed my life. Somehow, that book made life make sense, the whole idea of being wiccan. I was raised catholic, but the whole idea of eternal damnation if you don't repent for your sins didn't fly with me, cause if god loved everyone, then how could he do that to them? Between that and a few of the other teachings of the church, I decided that it wasn't for me.
What's really interresting it that my mother was studying to become a nun for a few years before she left the convent...and stayed devout for the rest of her life.
Anyways, I believe in myself, and what I can do, and I believe in trusting what fate has in store for me, hoping that I can take what comes my way.
