My mom just has my whole life in her grasp right now. She controls everything, when I get onthe computer, when I shower, when I have to swim with my dorky little brother, and when I get up. Recently, she's been controlling what I wear, drink, and most recently, she said I couldn't eat rice. I'm going insane. Whenever I ask her about it, she'll bring up an issue like: 'You can't cennter your life around your freinds'. When I refuse, she gets angry, then bans me from electronics for a while.
She also tells me that if I don't get healthier, I might have a risk of getting Diabeties. The thing is, I am healthy. She also says going outside is fun. Sitting in lukewarm water, getting splashed and beaten on by your 7-year-old brother in 102-degree weather and your dad constantly asking you if you'll mow the lawn for him is NOT fun. Electronics are fun. I think I'd rather have someone drive a lawnmower over my chest.

aah... i see... my dad did the same to me... just he only tried to ban me from the world... and told me to start over and stuff... yours is a little different... maybe you should try "rebelling"... or in other words, try going against what she says and do what you want... if she hits you or if your dad hits you then call DSS... you have to take control of the situation

They may be right about you getting outside, y'know. I'd take walks around the place, maybe ride a bike, and...well...mow the lawn (at sunset--it's cooler, then) to humor your father.
If you do that, they'll probally lighten the strain on you a bit. But, you have to be willing to compromise, as sucky as that sounds. :'D

Yeah, but it's just getting worse. I can't even go a minute without her yelling my name and asking me if I'm okay. Plus, she wants to start restricting my computer time to about an HOUR. After hearing this, I just hid back in my room, bawled my eyes out, and wished I had a knife right then and there..
