Anyone here heard of Parkour? It's pretty interesting, fun too. Not exactly a sport, closer to a martial art then an extreme sport, but it's deffinatly extreme (exept for the posers, or just the new poeple). Here's a video of some really advanced Parkour: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBP_ny7ZvDU&search=Dvinsk ClanIt starts out borring though, they're just trying to make it fit with the music more razz

Well I've heard of Parkour, but never actually seen someone do it in real life. I think it's a pretty awesome sport. Using your enviroment as a playground. Some of those guys can do amazing stuff. I'd like to see them running from cops some day . xd

Yeah, I remember Pakour from the Nike Presto team commercials. Those commercials were hella crazy!! I remember that one with the chicken chasing that dude. But yeah, Pakour is the shiznit! I always wanted to learn how to be a stuntman in movie films and Parkour seems like the perfect sport for such a thing.
Thesae b*****d kids on this vid make it look soo damn easy! Damn, wish I woulda known about this when I was 13yrs old, shoot. I definitely can get into this stuff though. I just wonder how its practiced. I mean, you GOTTA be racking your knees and stuff in the early stages? Imma have to look it up.

I do parkour and I'm 13. I'm more into freestyle than traditional. I just can't get the high, the emotion, the intrest in just vaulting and wall runs. I have to dive and flip. I can do a front flip right now, but considering I do ALOT of dives in Hap Ki Do I can dive 4-5 feet.

Most videos have to have added flips or people wouldn't be as interested in the videos, but geez even if he went with out in his videos, that David Belle can make vaults look ******** amazing.

Meh... the flips and stuff will come later. I'm not that impressed with looking all high tech. Its the fundamental stuff that trips me out. I think I'll start out with this first though... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPeYpXxUkG8

The roll is the most important, however you have to learn it throughout your training, because it takes months to get the dang thing right on grass (much less cement). There are many Parkour fanclubs dedicated to Parkour in a certion state, usually you can just type in your state and then parkour and you'll get a community website where you can schedule jams and stuff, most people who do it are happy to teach others.
