While part of me accepts this, I almost think that it turned out that way completely accidentally.

Even so, there's some very interesting symbolism going on here, and we might be reading too much into it. The message might simply have been meant to be construed as "faith beats logic."

Do you have a favorite kind of yaoi? :cupcake:[/size][/quote] i think that would be the best ending. my boyfriend feels like naruto is going to sacrifice himself to like, save sasuke and then sasuke's gonna be like, OMG U SAVED MEEH and then defeat the big boss/juubii and then become hokage. and i was like omfg i would hate that ending. i'm not a huge sasuke fan. -_- i feel like he has the shittiest personalities out of all the characters in naruto and out of all characters i know actually. idk. you should DEFINITELY pick it up. i think watching the anime is much better than reading the manga. i watched like 460 episodes of it in 10 days. i have VLC media player so i just 2x speed the series, it doesn't change the voices and it's not like i can understand japanese well enough to not read the subtitles, so i'm basically just read to for ten days. for some of the shitty arcs like sky island i watched it in 3x speed. >_> what other series do you read? In an interview with the creator of SEED, I believe he said he purposely based a lot of the series off the first Gundam, and also tried to show the harshness of war, so it is possible such coincidence appear.
