Shikai walked briskly through the forest, her quickest route home, and pulled her bangs back -- for what must have been the thousandth time that day -- to the left side of her face, clipping them there.

A shadowy creature suddenly jumped out out of the bushes, right onto Shikai's path. Shikai has encountered a Rabid Squirrel.
Rabid Squirrel makes the first attack, lunging for Shikai's leg with sharp little claws. It hits for 11% DMG. Shikai has 89% HP remaining. The squirrel darts right between Shikai's feet and attempts to flee back into the safety of the foliage.

"What the hell-- OW!" Tiny drops of blood pop up above Skai's ankle. Enraged, she lunges forward and attempts to stomp down on the squirrel.

Rabid Squirrel tries to roll to the side to escape Shikai's foot, but the blow glances off it's side and it suffers 20% DMG. It has 80% HP remainig.
It jumps up for a counter-attack, scratching Shikai's arm for 15% DMG. Shikai has 74% HP remaining. Rabid Squirrel growls menacingly at the Lotus woman, its tail bristling.

"What did I ever do to you?" Shikai asks, wincing as sharp claws gouge the skin on her arm. She reaches forward and plucks the squirrel up by its bristling tail, and then swings it as hard as she can by its tail, before releasing it to let it go flying.

The squirrel flies into the foliage and dissappears from sight. Rabid Squirrel has left the battle.
