"FIGHT:KLUB" Quote: This is the "Monday Night Fight Klub," a twice-monthly event where unsigned rap MCs flock in hopes of earning a record deal. Although "Fight Klub" - which will release its Universal-distributed debut DVD "Monday Night Fight Klub Volume I" featuring their greatest battles on Oct. 11 - didn't invent so-called street battling, it has fine-tuned the format, which is very different from the contests depicted in the Eminem biopic "8 Mile."  Every second Monday, "Fight Klub" features four battles, each with three 60-second rounds. The outcome is decided by a panel of celebrity judges - on this evening, Eminem's former deejay Green Lantern, Dame Dash Music Group A&R Clark Kent and rapper Saigon . The contestants tailor their rhymes for a specific opponent, which they deliver a cappella across the crowded pool table. Some MCs, such as main-event winner Dirty Apple Slim, even bring props to denigrate their opponents. DAS' bag of tricks included a bra and panties. They were proof, he rapped, that his opponent's mother wasn't so virtuous. Talk about the battles, artists, and anythign pertaining to the show here. Some of yall may recognize this thread, cuz I posted it in the Hiphop forums as well. I just wanted these battles SOMEWHERE in my guild, so we can all talk about them. I put too much damn work into that first post sukkaz! scream
Now who is messin wit my dog Serius Jones?!?! dude is hard in every battle I've seen him in. Even that battle he lost to Professor Green (can't find the link for some reason). sweatdrop

Well, I saw clips from the battle... it was Power Summit '05 or sumthin, and it LOOKED to ME like Jones murdered his a**. Thing was, Pro Green just came wit these cheesy a** punchlines that the crowd was HELLA feelin' for some reason. Jones was droppin' personal after personal on dude, and gettin' no respect from the crowd. Pro Green is from England, and most of the crowd was English, so.... I don't even know how he lost, cuz Pro Green is garbage.

Click! You got AIDS! Gee-Money Serius Jones lost a battle! Never knew that damn da way he murderd Jin I didn't think it could happen. Anything can happen his not the best batteler in tha planet. Yeah, you're right.... but if you saw the battle, you'd say the same thing. It was misjudged, because Serius Jones had waaay better punchlines than Pro Green and was more creative. OF course, thats just my opinion. BUt alot of people I talked to felt the same way. Too bad that battle's not up to link it, so you guys could see it.

About the Jin vs. Serious Jones battle. I'm not denying he lost. I'm just saying Serious Jones pissed me off with the racist slurs he spat. I had to turn the battle off halfway threw. I seriously think the big reason Jin lost is that he was yelling, a lot. I think Jones' racism and family dissing caused that. Kinda reminds me of the Zidane headbutt. Zidane got pissed at the other guy for dissing his family, so he lost his temper, and the game.
Rap isn't racism!
