A pleasant set of neighborhoods, with decent houses lined up in aesthetic rows. You know the kind of place.
On the corner of a semi-main road there is a tele-terminal, into which Lilam would find himself translated. A recorded female voice, flat, dull, and inoffensive, speaks blandly from the panel next to the exit disk on which he now stands. "Please step off the arrival pad to make way for incoming arrivals. Thank you for using Gaia Public Teleporters." If Lilam continues to stand on the pad for more than a few seconds, the message will periodically repeat.

Myles follows after Colon steps off the pad, and gives him a wry grin. "Whether we did or not remains to be seen. You can't judge the movie until the credits roll."

Lliam obeys the instructions. He watches the device as though he is fascinated. He looks over his shoulder at Colon and Myles as they arrive. He tilts his head to the side, as if he's curious to know what they were talking about.
"Give me your arm, Colon, and let me help you get where we're going. You're going to need a long rest, I would imagine. Don't worry, I'll guard you while you sleep." Is that supposed to be a comfort?

He reluctantly accepts the help, glancing once over at Myles, but not saying anything else to him.
The words "Don't worry, I'll guard you..." brought him little to no comfort, in fact it disturbed him more than anything.
"Myles, how far is your place from here?" The anxiety in his voice was thick, he had never been very good at remaining calm in uncomfortable situations, in fact you could easily call him paranoid.

"Not too far. Just down that street." A car pulls out of the street Myles is pointing toward, the driver quickly gives him a thumbs-up and turns down the street away from him.

He follows.
He takes in a breath of fresh air deep into his lungs. "Alive. It's good to be alive," he says more to himself than anyone else.
There's a spring to his step, an arrogance, almost. He's back from the grave, and almost gloating about it.

He too follows with his head down, but still watching Lliam carefully out of the corner of his eye. Glarring angrily at the way he held himself, Colon wished he hadn't been so eager to test his abilities, it seemed that nothing good had come from his success.

Myles Leads the two up to a decent house, unlocks the front door, and holds it open for them.

As he steps through the door, he looks back at Colon, seeing the anger in his face, and somehow knows it is directed at him.
He grins, broadly, and throws himself into the first chair he sees, almost like he owns the place. "Colon, Colon... what's wrong with you, dear? You're so pissy." He curls on the chair like a cat, tilting his head to the side so that his hair will spill over his face. "You should be very proud of yourself for giving me back my life." He hugs himself around the shoulders, and rolls in the chair. "I very much enjoy living, Colon. You have no idea how much fun I have." He winks, and Colon realizes for the first time that he's...flirting...oh, my.

Holy s**t... He clears his throat and his angered look turns into an awkward stare. He wasn't sure what to say, all he knew was that he suddenly felt very exposed. "I-I just don't want to stay too long, I don't like being an inconvenience."
He hobbles to the other side of the room and finds a seat where he isn't too close, but can keep an eye on Lliam. Nervously he glances over at Myles and cocks his eyebrow, wondering if he was the only one who could tell. Perhaps of course, it was just his imagination; he was, as we all know, a bit paranoid…

Myles sits on the couch and looks up at Colon. "You're going to stay here until you relax. You made an honorable decision, Colon, you did right by you and to hell with the minor consequences." Then he grins. "I find it ironic, though, that you choose to walk into a private morgue run by organized crime with no problems, but when the guy you resurrect starts flirting with you, that's when you really start freaking out."
Then he turns to Lilam. "So what are your plans?"

For a moment it looks as though he is about to say something back to Myles, but he closes his mouth and decides to just shut up. Maybe he did just need to relax... Feeling slightly embarrased, he listens quietly for Lliam's answer, he was after all, wondering the same damn thing.

He grins a little bit when Myles uses the word flirting. He wasn't going to use that word. He looks back and forth between the two and considers the question Myles asked.
Then he straightens himself, and a moment of seriousness crosses his face.
"I owe you honesty, you have treated me with honor and compassion. You've extended your hospitality to me, and I owe this one my life." He clears his throat. "Though you shouldn't forget, Myles. You owe me your life."
It almost sounds like a commodity he intends to collect at some later date, though he doesn't say anything more on that.
"I am a foreign officer from Edengard, the city-state to the northeast of Crosshaven. I am a member of the Queen's court, her lawful executioner, and I am in Crosshaven illegally. I was sent here to find a condemned criminal that has fled the law. His name is Aubrey, and he's a traitor. My sources--" he whispers to Colon, "and by sources, I mean spies, darling," and looks back to Myles "--tell me that Aubrey entered the territory of Crosshaven not long ago, and that he may already be dead... I am here to make sure that's not just a rumor."
"Aubrey apparently contracted the mafia to take my life some months ago, if I was found to enter the city. But the mafia consists of two opposed groups, and my Queen was able to secure the loyalty of the other group for my security and safe passage. They failed me, and that's how I ended up on that table." He smiles a little at the thought of his own death, like he has tasted the rarest of wines and still has the flavor on his tongue.
He continues, "I have another errand, but it doesn't concern this district. I am searching for the Queen's daughter Emily, and the common man who kidnapped her. I have no reason to believe they are in Crosshaven. I have a warrant for his arrest and a sincere desire to see the lady safely returned to her home, though it has been a long and tiresome search, and I am afraid my chances of finding her alive are slim."

"Well then, since you seem to be at an impasse..." Myles reaches into his messenger bag and takes out a deck of cards, the back of which looks like this: He places the deck on the coffeetable and says, "Shall I read your cards? Maybe it'll give you some insight as to what to expect." ((Many thanks go out for the Discordian Tarot Deck. Original version by Max Flax Beeblewax, (boing!) Cnoocy Mosque O'Witz, and Reverend Gnaomi Lizyrd the Loud, CCACC.
Revised version (1.267) by the other anonymous, KSPS Nurbldoff, and Synaptyx. ))

He smiles politely and looks over Myles’ shoulder, trying to look interested in the cards, "Sounds like a fantastic idea Myles, after all, it appears that Lilam has quite a job ahead of him."
Figuring that the best way to not come off as shocked, relieved, repulsed, and terrified all at an unbearably equal amount of time, would be to turn his focus completely onto a friendly game of fortune telling.
However, inside his mentally exhausted head, he begins to figure out how to relay this message to Daniel and Rose as quickly as he can.
