First post, shall probably be used as a Table of Contents if I get enough stuff in here to warrant it, also houses myRules Because otherwise a plague of locusts will descend o'er the Earth. Seriously.
Basically, don't post without permission and don't be an arse monkey alright? I'ma try to keep this as IC as possible, first post not counting of course.

Quick Info Kanoni means: Little Bird in African
Yahto means: Blue in Native American
Both Kanoni and her familiar Yahto are named for their distinctive Blue Jay markings.
Kanoni weight: Larger than most males, but small for a female at 147lb
Kanoni height: Fairly short at 33 inches at the shoulder
Kanoni rank: Ladyship
Kanoni markings: Blue Jay
Noticeable Scars: None
Family: None
Past: Not much is known about Kanoni before she found and joined Chumu clan. Occassionally if she isn`t paying attention she might make mention to her first clan, which suffered some ill fate she doesn`t talk about. As far as Kanoni is concerned, the past is gone and over with, there's nothing you can do to change it so there isn't any point obsessing over it. You learn from it and move on
Personality: Kanoni appears calm at almost all times. She is very rarely overly dominant, nor is she overly submissive. She believes very strongly in balance. If she had had knowledge of such a concept, Kanoni might make reference to the Yin and Yang inside each person. She does not however. She knows there is a dark, wild part of her that would be more than happy to kill other hyena's and she knows there is a light, joyous side of her that cherishes all life, the young most of all. Being possessed of both views, Kanoni tends to use them to cancel each other out, leaving her calm and collected, occassionally even seeming unemotional, distant or detached in times of stress. She is very protective, perhaps over-protective of clan, territory and pups. Particularly pups. Anyone who would harm hyena young around her had best watch their throats, lest they be ripped out. If a pup is in danger Kanoni will fight like one possessed, even against impossible odds.
Views On Rank: Basically as Kanoni see's it, there is the Queen, and then there is everyone else. Oh, and Kanoni, who would be off to one side a little. She is still loyal to her Queen of course, as long as she see's the Queen as looking out for the clan's and by entension Konani's best interests. She tends to take it for granted that should she feel it necessary to give an order, any male of any rank will listen. As she would give orders only if she saw it as needful, a male who did not listen would irritate ehr most strongly. Violence would probably ensue. Baronesses are often an annoyance. They are too loud, not careful enough and much too pushy for not-Queens as far as Konani is concerned.
Views on Yahto: Even when clanless, Kanoni was never alone. Yahto was always with her. He is often invalueable at bringing in food when prey is scarce as his markings often cause creatures to not register him as a predator until it is too late. Kanoni considers Yahto more as family than she would even most clan hyena's. Any hyena who might think to try and make a quick meal of Yahto would soon find themselves facing a very, very angry Kanoni.
Side Note: For those planning on fighting with Kanoni, because she is smaller, she is not as strong as the majority of other hyena's. She is however, slightly faster and significantly more agile than most. Also if she is fighting for her life, or to protect others, she will fight dirty and Yahto will help her. See how well a hyena can go for her throat with their eyes ripped out because they weren't watching the skies as well.

Friends and Foes Other hyena's and sentient beings of note Kanoni interacts with go here Yahto: Kanoni's familiar, friend and constant companion. They are very close, and Kanoni cherishes the bird. She feels the similar markings mean they are family in soul if not in skin. She often dreams of what it would be like to fly as Yahto does.
Uchawi: Kanoni's new Queen. She is strong and smart, but whether they will get along well is yet to be seen, although, good Queens need not be good friends to serve their purposes.
Teska: Kanoni likes this young femme. She's obviously had a rough past, but she's respectful and quite good company. The two have hunted together once before. Also, Kanoni feels slightly protective towards the adolescent. She is clearly no cub, but she is young and alone Kanoni views her a little bit like a younger sister.
