Okay, here's the thing... We will be back in school in a little over three weeks! (Scary, isn' it?) Well, I was thinking that we will all need a place just for high school realted things. So... This is where you let out about whatever you want. I mean it. Like, you can rant on about the teachers. Or get help on school work/concepts. Or just advice on semi-related school things, like annoying classmates or whatever. I think it will be good for us. (And it is a way for us to all feel connected, in a sense. That is, if you get what I'm talking about...) So, it's all cool, eh?

Well... um... I know this is an odd question... And you all might hurt me for asking... But I kind of want to ask...
What is the best way to become increasingly popular? I know that the first thing is to be a prep and all, but I am wondering how you can be really cool with everyone without changing your our personality, you know?
So... um... yeah...

Lol, I think you girls'll fit in fine in high school.

And as far as know, there's no such thing as popular. Just like there's not really such a thing as beautiful. It all depends on each individual's opinion. Heh, and I thought you all were smart enough to know that?!

*hits Shami* Be quiet, lover boy. Well...Lol, wanna be popular in High school and you're going to Mountain Point?! Hang out with me! rofl Jk. I mean, 'course you can hang out with me. I'd love to show you around. It takes a long while to get used to, with so many rumes and two stories, in both schools. Lockers help, though. And there's a playground, in which I one day hope to sneak in... twisted

But High schools' like any other school. xp Except in my opinion, much worse...they, um...well, stupid teenagers do things like make out and stuff in the hallways. So me and my friends like to fling things at 'em... ^^

And then...ug, there's naster things in the bathroom. An old childhood friend of mine, just last year, who was a freshman (well, naturally, so was I) Er...kinda got pregnant. I don't even want to think/talk about it, but it was with her boyfriend, and she had her baby this summer. High school is evil. Do not let it corrupt you! It can also be challenging decideding which classes to take unless you know what college you want to go to and what requirements you need to meet.

Which I don't know much about...

Anyway, hope you guys have fun there. It's a lot more students than teachers, sadly...teachers don't hold much authority and students, no matter what grade/age, mingle a lot more than middle/elementary, so there's a lot more bullying and stuff, but mainly between stupid boys. rolleyes

There's a lot of discrimination against them by upper classmen. xp I'd rather be a freshman than anything else in high school.Don't let the 'stupid freshman' comments get you down. And I don't like to say bad words, but they're idiots, and you shouldn't listen to them. XD I told one I wish I was a kindergardener and he just stared at me and shut up, so I laughed.

*sigh* it made me so sad to see a friend of mine (a boy in my Kindergarden class who I think had a crush on me then... *has all his gifts*) he got so mad when I took his backpack (Hey, I was hyper! I didn't know what I was doing! It was a random backpack...in the middle of no where! It was after school and we were waiting for the buss! I was bored!) He saw me take it started spewing 'cuss' words at me. xp A Kindergarden friend. So sad...he never looked much different, either... sweatdrop

OMG, but whoever takes my bus HAS TO SIT WITH ME IN THE FRONT!!!! rofl Our Bus driver Steven's the COOLEST!!! whee We're good pals. He keeps offering to let me drive the bus while he takes a nap in the back. Thought better of it when he first noticed I was hyper one day after school...but I'm going to be taking driving lessons this year! twisted

I was wondering... Why do they give us our schedules on the FIRST DAY? stressed I think that it is so illogical! Especially for us freshmen who don't know where a single classroom is!!!

Well, I don't know an answer to that so much... otherwise I would be very popular.... but I'll just go with how my sis is. If someone says hi, you don't just say "hi" back, you start a small, quick conversation. After a while, these converstations can gain you alot of friends. Help people if they ask or look like they need it, don't be shy, go out there. Just be nice in a loud way, I guess. But no-one can blame you for wanting to be popular, it's not a bad thing. If you want to be cool popular, not prep-popular. 3nodding

Hmm.... well, Shami, you have a point. That's something that I believe, deep down. But I think that Silly just means how does she make lots and lots of friends, which is fun. And Tymiko, I sooo needed that! Well, not some of it.... neutral , but it helps. Well Brittany.... atleast you and I will be lost in the same school.... 3nodding heart

Friends are easy! ^^ <3 Keeping them is harder. You guys have a good grup of friends already, and with personalities like yours, you're sure to make many more.

Heh...my problem is I've got a ton....just...none of them are really that close to me, and I suppose though they can be really kind and supporting, they're also the type to keep to trends and I'm so different occasionally I just feel they ignor me and I'm not there.

Three of my 'group' are a little awkward...individually they're all nice to me, but two mostly stick to each other as best friends, and the other just clings to them. It seems she wants so much to be like them and fit in she forgets about me. So I occasionally forget about them. But then I wonder if they think I don't want to be their friends anymore and ARGH! I just get so confused.

*sigh* Friends are tough. I just don't think there's anyone I can be as close with as you guys are with each other. sweatdrop You're really lucky. You can talk to each other about anything.

I have trouble figuring out what to talk about. Other kids my age have no clue about the things I like talking about, and I don't have any clue or intrest in what they talk about (who likes whom, who's breaking up, what they're doing at the mall after scholl, yada yada...)

And then boys are a whole 'nother deal. xp *has a couple of boys who like her, but doesn't want them to like her because she doesn't like boys* Or girls...or anyone...at least not like that...

High school will be the end of me. But don't worry, I'm sure you will all fit in and adapt much better than I ever could. You're all just cool like that. I don't have the skill nor knowledge to survive. sweatdrop

rofl Lol, look! Alright, so Seniors call Freshman 'Fresh meat'. So I say to that:

If Freshmen are 'Fresh meat',
Sophomores are 'Soft meat' (decaying and mushy until it falls right off the bone)
Juniors are Juniors (big, squalling, ugly babies)
And Seniors are...well, Seniors. (old, wrinkly, crippled people)

All in all,I think I'd prefer being Fresh meat...but then...I'm really old now, so I'm gonna be Soft Meat. crying xp Yuck. And they said High school gets easier as you go up in grades...yeah right.

Sounds like.... well, sounds horrible. sweatdrop Well Tymiko, you're right. We are really lucky.... and High School will be fine, as long as we stick together as much as possible. Tymiko, I'm sure there are people in your grade with the same intrests as you! You just have to find them. Some people are lucky and it just happens, and others have to look. But the hard thing is if you start hanging out with a group that isn't exactly for you it's hard to get a new group because then you have to leave you other group sometimes, but you like them too so it's like having two lives.... neutral

Eh...I know what you mean. sweatdrop Thing is, if you're looking at it that way...I have about...fifty lives, more or less, because I don't really stick to one group. Which can be a problem because then I don't really feel like I fit in anywhere, and then I don't really share much of those 'lives' because I spend so little time in each one...
