What do you think of them?
I think that they are normally much better. I don't know why. Technologywise(word?)I know they are better since..Japan is most 'modern.' I just think their companies are cleaner...

Japanese brands are awesome...the quality is better by far!
Companies in the USA are motivated by ever increasing profits, and so they cut corners wherever possible to sell really cheaply made products for as much money as possible.
I also tend to think that they purposely make things so that they don't last, knowing that you'll have to buy a new one sooner so they pack it with a bunch of features and hope you'll buy it again when it breaks >_< More money for them sweatdrop
Cars for example...I bought a Saturn brand new and had to almost push it to the dealer to trade it in after 5 years. Now I have a Toyota Camry...and bought one specifically made in Japan biggrin Haven't had any trouble with it!!
