Plot
Kira and Lacus's wedding in PLANTS. A reunion of old friends and new acquaintances.Mishu Maybe we can start it off with a scene of Cagalli driving to the wedding. Yes, Cagalli driving. Ever noticed that Athrun is the only one who drives? Anyway, it's better that's she's driving instead of in a limo so she don't attract attention since she's going to a private wedding.
There could be a scene where she's talking with Lacus in a room before the actual ceremony begins. Maybe a comment about Athrun or something. Also, you would think that Lacus would have Cagalli be like the maid of honor, but Cagalli probably refused for some reason.
(Just throwing in ideas for conversation)
The ceremony begins and most of the attendants are the AA crew. That's where Mwu, Murrue, Miriallia and co. come in. Could also be where we hint that Mwu and Murrue are married.
Now, the only question is...is it an indoor or outdoor wedding? If it's outdoor, then they could be getting married on that same isolated island that they lived on in the beginning of Destiny. That will make Cagalli easy target. However...it'll be pretty tough for an assasination to get there without being spotted. Unless they are disguised as a camara person, caterer...w/e.
If it's indoor...then maybe someplace up in the PLANTS. Probably at the Clyne Mansion. Same idea for assasin.
The only way I can think of the assasin not being apart of the wedding is if Cagalli is targeted while leaving the wedding, going and whatnot.
Also you can throw in Kira getting aquainted with the old crew again. Maybe some small scenes of Shinn, Luna and Meyrin. They might be at the wedding as well.

September 2, C.E. 75
A teal color convertable rode down a deserted street towards the outskirts of the city. The driver's platinum hair flowed in the direction that the wind sent it. His eyes were hidden behind his black romani shades. His features were stern as he kept his attention forward until he reached his destination.
He stopped his car in front of a small church. It was located some distance from the busy streets of the city with red maple trees all around. Yzak Joule stepped out of his car and stood staring at the church doors. His expression never changing. It took him a moment before he moved and as he did so he turned his back on the church and leaned against the side of his car with his arms folded.
"That Elsman better get here."

Lacus was in the dressing room, preparing for her special moment in time. Looking out the window, she saw that Yzak had arrived, though not many other people were here yet. She sighed and sat back down, continuing to brush her hair. She felt herself in bliss.
She wore a seam-strap gown, white with the tint of pink. Lace rode around her hip, down to the floor. A diamond pendant was at her throat, and silk gloves were on her hands. On the table lay a crowned tiara to hold back a veil.
She sighed again, then heard someone enter the room. "Cagalli?" Lacus called.

A girl with medium-length, light cream-brown hair walked in. She wore a blue satin gown with a high neck and slits down the skirt. It matched the colour of her eyes well, which were a bright sky blue. She wore high heels to highten herself, and her skin paled slightly in the light.
She shook her head and dipped slightly in Lacus' presence. "No Miss Lacus, it is only me. Some guests are coming in now...and we have Kira greeting them. Miss Cagalli will come soon...do not worry." She looked Lacus up and down with a smile. "You look very beautiful Miss."

Lacus smiled back at the young girl. "Please stop calling me Miss Lacus, Kairynn. Lacus is fine." She cocked her head slightly. "I am very glad to have met you... because of you, our goals for our peace entirety may finally be mastered with the new Republic on Earth." Looking back in the mirror, she closed her eyes happily. "Thank you for the message Kairynn...if Cagalli comes, please send her in right away." She looked back up at her friend. "I hope you enjoy today's event!"

Kairynn nodded, a bit bashful for the comments. "I'll make sure Cagalli comes here first thing Miss La...I mean, Lacus. And yes...I know I shall enjoy today's event." Dipping slightly again, she left the air of happiness in the dressing room with the blissful songstress.
Walking out onto the pathway, she saw Kira greeting the guests and smiled again, hands clasped in front of her. "I am glad to have met Miss Clyne and Mr. Yamato...they are such wonderful people that this world needs...and I am glad to be doing this job for them."

Kira saw Kairynn come out. He remembered when he was that age...after the first war...he had hardened from who he was before. He was more tuned to the ways of war. And that was only...a couples years ago... Hopefully with her, they wouldn't have to worry about anymore wars anytime soon.
Turning, he saw Yzak getting out of his car. "Well...Yzak's here." He said to no one in particular.

Andrew Waltfeld was driving his own red convertable to the church. "Haven't worn a suit in a while..." he said outloud. Stopping behind another car, he noticed Yzak Joule grumpily staring out to the road. He grinned as he parked and got out. "Hey kid..." He said, going over to Kira. "So today's the day?"

Kira nodded. "Yeah....today's the day." Turning, he nodded to his mother, then looked back at Andrew. "It is good to see you here Mr. Waltfeld."

Andrew nodded to the groom. "Well I'm glad to be here." Sidestepping slightly, he bowed to Mrs. Yamato. "And it is nice to see you as well m'am." Offering her an arm, he decided he'll go into the church and relax a bit before all the action happened.

Mrs. Yamato also nodded and accepted the arm offered by Waltfeld. Looking back at her son, she smiled and nodded to him. The two went down the pathway into the church. Passing Kairynn, they exchanged greetings, then entered.

So, today's the day..., Dearka thought as he drove his red car towards where the wedding was going to be held. Kira must be real happy... He sighed as the cool breeze blew through his blonde hair. I wonder if Miriallia and Yzak are there yet? Finally, after a while of driving, he spotted a church out of the corner of his eye and drove towards it. After pulling over behind a familiar teal convertable, Dearka got out of his car and scanned the area.
It was indeed a lovely place to have a wedding and a welcoming aura seemed to surround the church. Suddenly, he sensed movement behind him and turned around. It was indeed his fine silver-haired friend; Yzak. How could he have possibly missed him as he came out of his car?
"Hey Yzak," Dearka greeted quite plainly. "You sure came pretty early... " It was obvious that the blonde wanted to see Miriallia very much, but he was really happy to see his old friend as well. "How've you been?"

What am I even doing here...
If one looked carefully in the church, one could spot a young black-haired man wandering around the aisles, deep in thought. It was a small wedding - hey, he could do whatever he wanted before the ceremony actually started. He looked around at the decorations, both the stained glass windows and the flowery patterns cast around the hall. He himself had given up on religion long ago - since when had it saved his family? - but the glass still gave him a sense of awe. Why did it impress him? He didn't know.
Uncomfortably dressed in a tux, he tugged on his tie. Being forced into this by the Hawke sisters hadn't been too great of an experience. Before being further smothered he had driven out to the church, alone. The tux wasn't the best fit and the shoes were almost unbearable, but he was here.
Why? he asked himself again.
Lunamaria and Meyrin had begged. How could you turn down an invitation to a wedding, they asked. He had answered that he could do anything he wanted, and he didn't care if it was the wedding of the chairwoman of PLANT. Weddings just weren't his thing. But they had insisted. And he had given in, something he didn't do very often. He was annoyed at that, but he had learned a long time ago that berating himself for something got him nowhere.
It wasn't as though he had met with them very often, although they obviously wanted to change that. He sighed. What was Shinn Asuka doing here?

"Here we go," Mwu said as he pulled up beside a small church. He took a deap breath and slowly released it. After a few minutes of silence, he jumped out of the car and opened the passenger door.
"Thank you," Murrue said as she took Mwu's outstretched hand. "What a beautiful spot to get married."
Mwu closed the door behind Murrue. "Indeed," Mwu held out his hand to his wife once more. "Shall we go inside?"
Murrue smiled as she took his hand. "We shall. I think I see Kira at the door."
Mwu looked up towards the door. "Well lookie here! Hello Kira!" Mwu said as he approached the brown haired boy.
