Lets start, nintendogs great game but every game has its flaws.
It uses the DS's abilities greatly, such as the mircrophone and touch screen, and if you ask me this game was probaly made just to show off such things.
You start off at the kennels, you pick a breed and one of three dogs they have available. Each has different fur, personality and gender. Once you've picked the dog you want, the game takes you and your puppy to your house. Now this part is fustrating, teaching your dog its name.
The trick is to say its name clear and the same everytime. When i first got the game it took me 20mins + to get past that part.
The next bit is to teach your dog its first trick, sit down. I recomend saying "sit" rather then "sit down" since the dog will get confused with it from other commands such as "lie down"
Hoorah! you've passed that part, now onto the game.
In the game, you clean, brush, feed and walk your dog. These tasks get very repetitive so theres always the compititions.
Even with the comps and trials this game gets extremely repetitive, and makes up for it with the trainer point system. basically if you take your dog for walks, win comps, wash your dog ect. you get rainer points, the number of points you must have to get something varies from time to time.
with trainer points, you can unlock new breeds and houses.
The game's bark mode is good, but it would be beter with wi
fi.
overall i give this game 7/10.
Its got gourgous graphics and music but the gameplay, as i said earlier, is very repetitive, and the game get boring after a while.
