I wanna go to Korea!
I've never been there before crying
For people who has been to Korea, can you describe it for me? Like what is the neighborhood like, or the school's and stuff.
THankies!

Since I'm Korean myself, I've been there. The plane ride is pretty long. It takes at least a day about. When you arrive there are lots of korean language already. The signs are beautiful. The neighborhoods are beautiful too. The streets are clean. Depending on which neighborhood you go to. The areas always change to urban or rural areas. Neither are "poor", as some would describe it, and it's always full of the welcoming korean people. I myself went to both kinds of areas and both are equal. The schools are great too. My uncle was a teacher so I went with him once to his class. The schools are always clean. Korea is a very clean place to visit and not that much different then other places in America. Most high scoolers in Korea wear uniforms. Most people think it would be like the japanese school animes. It's not really the whole sailor uniforms. The uniforms are much professional. As always it's clean and usually stays to a navy blue. Not all the time though. On my description other koreans could probably describe it better than me and have different opinions. Not all of Korea is the same so that's what makes it interesting and a great place to visit.
I hope my description at least gives some of you an idea. =]

When you get down from the airport, the air is quite refreshing since it's the rainy season currently. The streets are pretty crowded in Seoul and you might notice that there are more people walking and taking buses and the underground than driving cars. Korea's pretty much s**c and span. You wouldn't find much of a dirty, unhealthy environment here. The neighbours are okay. You might find a few housewives outside talking or old grandfathers playing Chinese chess. You'll also find a lot of kids outside since it's summer. If you go out into the city, you'll find little shops and bars along the streets. If you ever do go out, I suggest you take the bus or the underground or just walking rather than taking taxis, etc. You'll get more of Korea that way.
If you're planning to visit North Korea, the atmosphere there is pretty much the same except they have cleaner air of the less cars and stuff. Students aren't allowed to wear anything but the school uniform if they're to go out into the streets and leave their neighbourhood. No cars are allowed to be driven on Sundays so be caureful. The sidewalks are bigger than the main roads because they're are many people walking. The underground can be pretty dangerous if it's too crowded but it's okay. Do not ever come here if you're intending to go shopping and come back the same way you went out.
And do not ever ever ever in your whole life come in August. You won't be going back safe and sound. xD

Tinne` o.o What happens when you go there in August ? D: You sweat. You smell. You long for winter. You die when winter comes. xD Scratch the last part out. rofl
It's just really really really hot. And unlike the desert, there's is a lot of himidity here and so even if it goes over 25°C you;re absolutely burning and sweating while in the desert even if it's 45°C, you only feel hot because there is no humidity.

I have to say though, it's not as beautiful in someplaces as it is in other places. Some cities are clean and beautiful while others are crowded and busy. If Korea and USA were compared New York would definately be Seoul and the country side would be California. The beaches however were beautiful. But they are trying to increase the land so the beaches are becoming poluted and there are alot pollution. The best time I had was when I was at my grandpa's house. He lives in a city but it's not very crowded and if you drive a little further there's this huge hill where you can see everything from. It's amazing how much one piece of land can be so exciting.
