It's not really a story, but this theory has been slowly developing over the years. It all started when Silly Putty ruined my little sister's blanket, and there's been no stopping it since.
Silly Putty is really an advanced race of superinteligent alien beings bent on world domination. They sneak into peoples' homes in little plastic eggs sold at the super market. One day, they will all attack and engulf they're owners, carrying us to giant escape pods shaped like eggs. These escape pods will transport us to their mother ship. They will take us back to their home planet where they will force us to work in the chocolate mines and give us nothing but really salty croutons to eat. Their one weakness is onions, especially green onions.
The planet fuzzball in the feline galaxy is their neighboring planet and sworn enemies. They've sent spies to the Silly Putty planet and to earth to try and stop they're evil plan.
My little sister's angry piggy hat has been accused of being an accomplice of the Silly Putty, we're planning on having a trial some time. I am the representative of the defense, and I'm sure the piggy hat will be found innocent.

My sister once dropped silly putty from the top bunk into my hair and it was disasterous. IT WOULDN'T COME OUT! You're right, silly putty is evil!

What I don't get is why is it so popular? Good marketing I suppose but still it gets everywhere and gets boring really quickly.

river_lullaby silly putty is evil... it attacked my blanket (that my mom made for me) and my carpet... Looks like you had the same experience we did. The blanket that was attacked was made by our grandma though. It also ruined my favorite shirt.

I don't know, I don't think I've ever seen an advertisement for Silly Putty. I think they're so popular because of brain washing mushrooms.(The mushrooms brain wash people, the mushrooms aren't being brain washed.)
