We need ideas for this guild, in order to keep it alive and well..

Maybe have some gamedays? Where we chose a game and play each in it. I reccomend Battlefield 2 for starters.

Well, we could have many guild sponsered events, such as RPing and lotteries and contests and whatnot. I think it'd be fun.

Okay, we'll work on these three ideas seperately....
1. Role Plays-
a. Stories
b. If it should be directly connected to the armies or seperate of them.
2. Lotteries-
a. Who will do it?
b. Do we have enough people for that?
3. Contests
a. Drawing
b. Writing
c. anything else?

Well, as for the roleplays, they could just be random ones that everyone here can join.
For the lotteries and whatnot though, I was talking more about making a thread somewhere that's sponsered by the guild and such. It'd raise awareness and such as well.

We could have war games. Each directing under rules that the OGC picked out beforehand. We could have Armies vesus eachother or versus the Guild Army.

Now that sounds like a good idea Templar, these battles can be non-permanent, yet RPed just as though it was actually happenening.... we'll call it a massive simulation room and it'll all be good... xd

Yes and by having you decide the rules we don't have year long arguments about the rules. Also it tests the strength of our Armies against each other.

That's actually an idea I had quite a while ago, and one of the reasons I joined this guild. (And on that note, our leader is back, and I'll direct her in this direction.)
It was requested by one of our members that we have a tournament of sorts, and I expanded upon this idea with the knowledge of this guild into a more practicle idea. We would have members of each guild compete either in teams or individually (and preferably in different competitions) to complete certain objectives or perhaps against each other in open combat. Teams could be selected randomly or organized by guild, ect.

Or of course, we could expand on that and the war game idea at the same time....
Perhaps battle's between each guild, set rules for each round (mainly the use of NPC's) and make it double elimination.
We could do it in a subforum and make all of the battle's happen decently quickly, things would settle at their own pace and everyone would have fun.
Solder's that "die" would come back immeadiatly at the end of the battle, and the guild army would not participate due to the fact that it's made of members of the combating guilds. This would also allow me to stay neutral, and therefore be able to call things like godmodding and autohitting without the unneeded OOC that would alwasy accompany the battle's.
The thing is that you would all have to agree to take me as an impartial judge, and basically let me be in charge of the battle.

How about having it in the O/M forum? The OGC could use some publicity. You could speak to Doji about it, I'm sure he wouldn't mind.

Great idea Rita, I'll get working on that right away.
Anybody want to make the initial posts for the tournament?
Post them in a new thread, as though we were creating a guild within this guild.
Then I'll copy and paste the info over, and it'll all be good.
