Here we will discuss who will roleplay which character in the rpg. This is also where new character profiles will be posted so it can be decided how the character will fit into the story.
NOTE: If you're going to participate in the rp, make sure that you will be available. If you're not going to post too often, then I suggest either don't participate or choose a character you know that won't be too involved in the rp. Rules will be later added.

my next thing is...how many new characters are we putting into the rpg? we can't have too many...but we will still need quite a few.

i'd say no more than 5 or 6 new characters...that way there's still room for new ones to come in...but we are still basing the plot on the old characters lives and stuff...and at least 3 of them should be from the new republic, since we already have characters in the other nations.
like i said before...i call kira if that's okay with everyone.
and who's going to post each character profile mishu? the person who roleplays it? or do we all decide together?

Well, I tried to include all the ZAFT and EA characters listed on my new plot add-on.
If I could, I'd like to play Shinn. ^^
And I think that it would be necessary for all of us to play two characters minimum, unless we get more people involved. We need a lot more people to make this work.

I'd like to be a female character from the Ocean Republic as well if that's alright with everyone. I just really want to get involved in this guild a little because I feel awful about how inactive I've been in this guild recently.

That's okay, Hikari. The more the merrier.
Well, it'll be such a big waste if we all try to figure out how the new characters should be. Already we have two requests on Republic civilians so they should go right ahead and create a profile and all. Just post the profiles here and then everyone else can judge it to see if the character will fit in along with the story. Does that make sense?

I've played her once before, but the RP died before it oculd reach page 3 or 4. ;___;

I'll be Rachel whatever, but can I possibly change the name... and in the other thread, Kal mentioned that we should have a female villan. Maybe we can somehow work Rachel into an evil person... maybe she knows Athrun is Athrun and not "Alex Dino" or whatever they called him in Destiny. Or no, I'm just babbling.

I think we already arranged all that stuff. Uhm, I put up a version of the plot in the 'Plot Outline' thread. And yes Cagalli, I'm sure you can change the name. It's your character now afterall.
Hmm...evil? She does already have a major effect in the story anyway, so I'm sure she's the villian alright. But let's not make that too obvious.
Is it alright with ya'll that I gave Athrun the name Koji Matasuki. I didn't want to use Alex Dino. That name is just too...ack. Besides, he already used that name before. I'm sure everyone knows that Alex Dino was Cagalli's bodyguard, so it wouldn't be much of a disguise anymore.
Any other name requests...?

I think Koji Matasuki should be fine, if not a little too Japanese-ish. I don't like Alex Dino either... it sounds like some... I don't know, celebrity? As for name requests, I'm not so good at those since I basically only come up with Japanese sounding names and I've noticed that in Gundam Seed, there's hardly any Japanese sounding names whatsoever. But Koji Matasuki sounds pretty good and I have no objections.
Plus, I love the idea of Shinn and co. being veterans all. Your ideas are awesome and so are everyone elses'.
