MAIN PLOT
The year is CE 75. The scars of war still have not been covered, as is evident by the formation of a new country, the Oceanic Republic. Separating from the larger Eurasia earlier this year, the country has been a place of refuge for those distrusting of the three powers during the war, the EA, ZAFT and Orb. Audrina Kavira, the newly elected leader of the Oceanic Republic, has her own agenda for the newly found nation. She feels that the other dominant nations, EA, Orb, and ZAFT, have too much control over its people and that the leaders are power hungry for their own ideals. These leaders, in her opinion, are not fit to hold the power to rule over people's lives. It's because of them that such gruesome wars in the past have ever existed. Rachel Kavira has done the research of all the important people who had a major role in history. And records show that all the issues, all the breaks in war, the beginning, the ending, all somehow link to the Kingdom of Orb, where her first target will be.

The year is CE 75. The scars of war still have not been covered, as is evident by the formation of a new country, the Oceanic Republic. Seperating from the larger Eurasia earlier this year, the country has been a place of refuge for those distrusting of the three powers during the war, the EA, ZAFT and Orb. The leader of this country, Audrina Kavira, has fought a long campaign to bring the Oceanic Republic into reality, but she seems to have her own shady agenda in regards to the country.
No longer bearing the once-noble impression it had under the term of Uzumi Nara Athha, Orb is a twice-shattered country which must regain its ideals and the people's trust. The weight of this is placed on the shoulders of Athha's daughter, Cagalli Yula Athha, who starts off by arranging negotiations with the Earth Alliance. However, her own government threatens to collapse on her because of past actions, making the attempts to influence the EA into coming to terms with ZAFT much more important in maintaining her position.
Assisting her from ZAFT is Lacus Clyne, and while Lacus appears to have much more success in the PLANTs than Cagalli is having on Earth, Lacus faces many problems of her own, including the members of the Supreme Council who were strongly in favour of the Destiny Plan. Kira Yamato regularly travels between Orb and the PLANTs, transferring information for Cagalli and Lacus, who dared not transfer their information through computers.
Athrun Zala, in an attempt to rid himself of his past, takes another name (which we can decide on) and enters the Oceanic Republic, trying to settle down in an environment where he would not be reminded of what had happened in the past few years. He has left behind his homeland, his fame and his love, and since he left Cagalli no one was able to track him down. However, his nightmares still haunt him, and he begins to find strange happenings in the government, all circling around Orb. When the world hears of the attempt to assassinate the Representative, his past catches up with him and with it, his feelings. The Oceanic Republic is the last place anyone would suspect of such doings, but Athrun isn't so sure... and he's determined to find out.

Koji Matasuki, a civilian. A resident of the new nation known as the Oceanic Republic. Most importantly, he is also a Coordinator. He has no past. His future is uncertain. His present, however, is currently occupied with a mission. A mission that is unknown to others save for one man who will remain to be as unknown for safety reasons. His mission is to live as a normal person with a renewed mind, with a renewed agenda, and a renewed goal. That is what the Republic is for, or is it? Only this man knows the truth. And only one man knows his true identity, for if anyone were to discover his true identy and true purpose then his life would be in jeopardy. For safety reasons, no one shall ever call him by the name of Athrun Zala.
NOTE ON OUR FAVOURITE ZAFT MEMBERS by Kalaeris
About Shinn... he's not going to be in ORB. I actually still see him in ZAFT military although that makes things a little difficult, as ZAFT is not centre stage. If we bring in Shinn, however, it will make it slightly easier to bring back Yzak and Dearka and such.
We still haven't covered the Archangel - I'm guessing her crew will be staying on standby most of the time, but docked in ORB helping out Cagalli. Eternal will remain under the command of Waltfeld as Lacus is doing her political maneuvering, and the TSA will root out riots and such and do the best to stop them.
Back to Shinn... he hears about the news on the assassination attempt. The Supreme Council decides to send a crew of veterans into the OR (my new acronym for Oceanic Republic), as they are not too trusting of the new government and the country's leader (though Lacus objects to this move). For convenience, let's make the crew consist of Shinn, Luna, Yzak and Dearka, although it sounds kinda dumb - we need good reasons for choosing them. Meyrin can be their correspondence from HQ (she got promoted).
ADD ON (Oceanic Republic civillians) by brianchan90
Under the Oceanic Republic, many citizens, both Coordinaters and Naturals, have hidden from the power struggle of the PLANTS, Orb and the EA. A normal citizen, Ryoku Takashon is a 16 year old Coordinator who's come to the Oceanic Republic to seek peace and quiet (after being a young recruit who delt with the PLANTS mobile suits during the Second Bloody Valentine War). However, after the arrival of his old friend Tarren Kuroshi (a skilled martial artist of 17 years old), the two of them uncover the plot of the Oceanic Republic to turn Orb and the former EA against each other, in order to gain more power over Earth. In order to discover more, the two sneak onto the lands of Audrina Kavira. Kairynn Kamiya, a 17 year old Coordinator who lives the mansion of Audrina Kavira as messenger for the PLANTS meets these two boys, as they investigate. She does not want to get involved with these plans, but she knows of them well and decides to help.
While this goes on, another young Natural, 18 year old Daniel Ramires is on a mission for Audrina Kavira when he stumbles on a small village being fought over by the Oceanic Republic. He goes on to save a local village girl, an 18 year old Coordinator named Ciel Kasaka who tells him of the things she has heard from soldiers who attack the town. For example, though ORB/the EA said they will send a messenger to the Oceanic Republic, no communication has been made. This makes him wonder what his mission is really about.
ADD ON (Connection of Kairynn and the ZAFT Crew) by lito wanderer
ZAFT's only reason why Shinn, Luna, Deakra and Yzak were sent would probably be because Kairynn was sent as a connection of discussion between Audrina and Lacus....not to spy or anything. This crew is sent to spy on the military organizations within the OR, and they eventually run into Ryoku and Tarren, so they join forces. That should clear up anything there.
ADD ON (Founding of the Oceanic Republic) by [Cagalli]
Samual Kavira, Audrina Kavira's father, was a councel member of Orb under Uzumi Nara Attha. During that time, he secretly developed the plans for a new country, the Oceanic Republic, or the OR. For 2 years leading up to the destruction of Orb, the OR was secretly constructed using private funds from Kavira. However, the top-secret files he accumulated were discovered by the fellow council members. With the threat of a treason sentence over his head, Kavira took the files and fled Orb with his 14 year old daughter, Audrina Kavira. Together, they traveled to Aprilius, where Sophia Kavira, Audrina's mother and Samual's ex-wife lived. Over the following year, Audrina accompanied her father on trips to the OR as he oversaw the construction of the ever-growing country.
At the end of that year, the OR's main construction was completed, marking the begining of the country's preoperous existence. At that time, the citizens of the country elected Samual Kavira to be their representative and asked him to present a peace treaty to the new representative of Orb, Cagalli Yula Attha. Kavira complied with their wishes and travelled to Orb. Upon arriving, he discovered a country recovering from the First Bloody Valentine War. He also found out that all the members of the previous councel, as well as Uzumi Nara Attha, had been killed in Orb's self destruct. With high hopes, he met with the councel and asked for a meeting with Cagalli. However, the representative was not present. A meeting was proposed for the next afternoon. On his way to his hotel in the middle of the city, Kavira was involved in a fatal side-impact collision. He was pronounced dead on arrival. There was no investigation.
Upon hearing of her father's death, Audrina Kavira continued to travel from her mother's home in Aprilius to her father's mansion at the OR. She oversaw all construction and production of the new nation. One year after her father's death, Aprilius was destroyed in the Second Bloody Valentine War. Her mother perished in the destruction of her birthplace. Devestated, Audrina put all her time and effort into build her only home.
After four long years of construction, the OR was offically complete on April 1st. The council was made up of the original founders, its doors were opened to the world's population, and a new representative chosen. Audrina Kavira, at 18 years old, was recognized for her dedication and love for the OR. A new nation was born.
ADD ON (Roles of Each Nation) by lito wanderer
it's the OR against Orb, and the EA is trying to overtake Orb AND the OR, so that's a three-way battle over the Earth. ZAFT is infiltrating the OR in order to find out what its doing...and since it isn't battling for earth, they could be trying to stop the fighting? it would be a good change for ZAFT's motives.
ADD ON (the Earth Alliance Federation and its Characters / Motives) by brianchan90
while the OR holds hidden plans against ORB, the former members of the EAF have plans of their own. many, who still believe that coordinators taint their blue and beautiful world, have formed a new team with similar attributes that formed the Phantom Pain. Absolute Zero is what they call this team, and it's founders consists of radical EAF members who have plans to reclaim the power that ORB had taken from them. knowing that the OR has a hidden agenda that ZAFT wants to uncover, the EAF hopes to claim ORB first, in order to then infiltrate the OR at its roots.
the team consists of 4 members. [[Paul Reisz]] is a 22-year old experienced pilot who has a large need to let everyone know where he has gained such status from. his right hand man, [[William Archer]], is only 18 years of age and much of an introvert, but he is also very skilled at flying mobile armours. [[Alex Raven]] is 18 years of age, and a flirt by nature, enjoying the company of young women. he is kept in check by 17 year old [[Tanya Lowe]], for she is pretty tempermental about practically everything...including his hobbies.
[insert name], the leader of this secret EAF team is a perfectionist, and was a to-be member of Blue Cosmos, that was, until ORB had destroyed the land where he had built his ultimate weapon against ZAFT. ready for revenge, he is the one who sends this team out, on missions and on battles against ORB. what he doesn't realize, talented as his team is, their motives do not correspond with his. the leader's goal is to take out all competition so that he alone can become supreme ruler of the world...without any tainted coordinators living in his land.
ADD ON (The EAF Team Leader's Background, and Names for the EAF) by Kalaeris
When [[Richard Henderson]] was young, he lived in the back streets of the Eurasian federation, in a gang where robbing, stealing and blood was common. However, he did have his gang and they all stuck up for each other, and together they were like brothers. One day, while he launched a raid on a neighbouring gang alone, a ZAFT bomber had struck the EA-dominated city in the area where his gang was centralized. All he could return to was a sea of dead bodies of his comrades who were more than the parents he never knew.
