Does anybody know Miyavi's email? XD
I want to email him, and notify him how much of a great place Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is so maybe, hopefully, he'll come here when he does his World Tour. crying

He doesn't have a specific e-mail address (I think they mask it so it doesn't get spammed), but there's a form you can fill out on the official website. Follow this. I just took one screencap cuz it's easier, but the labels for the sections you need to click to are all on the page. http://www.theeki.org/Stuff/MiyaviEmailGuide.jpg

Wasn't it that we can write in English as long as there is no slang and everything is clear and understandable?

tutseti Wasn't it that we can write in English as long as there is no slang and everything is clear and understandable? Actually, it doesn't. It says you can send praise or criticism and you can be from inside the country, outside the country, or out of this world. It doesn't even specifically state English because Miyavi has fans around the world and some of which who don't even speak English. After that, it says to just be nice and don't send prank e-mail. That's at the top of the page. The bottom part is just a little disclaimer/notice from PS Company stating how Miyavi's a busy man and can't answer all of the e-mails and might overlook some of them because he gets so many. It also requests that senders don't ask for personal requests or ask Miyavi to contact them or put their addresses or phone numbers and stuff in them or ask him to answer their mail in his diary, etc. The last couple of lines just states that the notice is from PS Company and the final note is just a reminder that we want Miyavi to be healthy and he's but one boy and overwhelmed.

I know that. I think I read somewhere (maybe on Night in Girl) that if English speakers do write, that they should not use slang because the Japanese are not as familiar with it and would not understand.

Well, that's more like a general suggestion at all, but I'm just saying it doesn't actually say that anywhere on the official website like you implied it did.
Between any language though, it's just recommended that if you're trying to communicate with someone in a language that isn't the receiving person's first that you shouldn't use slang. Most people studying a language other than their first are more used to the "formal" form of it, so it's something completely logical and something that someone might think is common sense, but some people just forget/get carried away and don't do it.

Ghost-Love hmmm I really want to write to him, but I can't....his layout changed.... I guess I'll try to translated it even though I only know abot two words in Kanji?? Not everyones born with the language in thier minds grrr, Damn you Sei The sections are pretty much the same, but it's just he changed the names on the bottom/the flash file to English. The upper right hand corner navbar is still the same and when you get to the individual sections, those still have the same name in "kanji" although the kanji in the upper right hand corner navbar are stylized. After that it's just finding where they put the form. The form's section though is still called the same thing though. "Miyavi kun ano ne"
