I figured I would make a thread that held a lot of my poetry.
I have been writing since about... the end of 2003. Although I am young, many extravagant things have happened during my life and my writings are a way for me to let my emotions run loose with no boundaries. My poems are very personal to me, and I love to hear criticism from others, especially considering I have probably killed a whole forest criticizing myself! I’m also open to any questions or comments that someone may have.
I love talking to people about my works, good or bad, but mostly I like to impact them somehow and make them get… absorbed by the poetry to the point where they can empathize with the emotions I put out. However that is not why I write, I write for pure enjoyment and self satisfaction.
So like I said, enjoy the writings, and criticize/comment on anything you want! 3nodding

How could this happen
What have I done
All I ever wanted
Was to be the one.

I thought we had a future
And would always stay true.
It must have been a dream
That I was trying to mold
But instead I am here
Sitting alone and cold
Im not sure what to think
Or how I will get along

Finally Done With Tears
How long would be the hour,
If there were none in the day,
And would we ever speak,
If there were nothing more to say,
What does darkness look like,
Can you hear the silent scream,
Can a shadow stand in sunlight,
Is life nothing but a dream,
A brief stay in eternity,
A night that lasts for years,
A sunset lit by moonlight,
Crying without tears,
A week after the end of time
When tomorrows yesterday,
Humanity will truly wake,
And rise as one to say,
We have no need for hours,
For were past the end of days,
And forever will we speak,
Cause there is always more to say,
Darkness is gone forever,
And we have no need to scream,
My shadows in a better place,
This is much more than a dream,
Ill stay here for eternity,
Its daytime all the year,
The sun can never set,
And we are finally done with tears.

If You'll Just Love Me Too
What can I do to win your heart?
What is it about me that sets me apart?
How can I show you the way I really feel?
How can I prove to you that my love is real?
Every time I reach out to touch you
You take a step in the opposite direction
I can never understand the way you feel
Am I just another lover in your collection?
Is there someone else there that you often see?
Could he be all that you want and everything that you need?
Is there even a chance for me to win your heart?
Or should I just walk away and make a brand new start?
I really need to know, please don't keep me waiting
It?s so hard to move on when my heart keeps anticipating
Thinking that you love me and that you will always be there
Hoping that you will return to me and that you are aware
Of just how much I love and need you in my life
How every moment without you, cuts me like a knife
You are the only one that my heart beats for
The only one that I am living for
I need to know what you are feeling inside
Can this relationship of ours stand the test of time?
Open your heart and show me your soul
Help me understand, darling I need to know
Do you really love me and want me with you?
Is this love of ours something that I should pursue?
Is it worth my time to sit around and wait?
Please tell me now, before it's too late
My heart is aching to have you near
Please tell me the words that I want to hear
Tell me that you love me and that you will stay
For this love in my heart will never go astray
If only you could see that all of this is true
How much I want to spend the rest of my life with you

To be by your side and whisper I love you
I know that someday you will surely see
That my life means nothing without you here with me
My mind is flooded with thoughts of you
There is nothing on earth that could pull me through
Except the warmth of your arms wrapped around me

A loving relationship that will live on forever
A sense of unity that we will always treasure
A feeling of happiness and a dream come true

My Future
As i look out the window of my future i see you standing there
In your voice i hear sensitivity which means you really care
Looking into your eyes is like looking into my own
You can change the way i feel just by your very tone
You're giving me that look that assures me i am safe
So im giving you my heart,soul and even all of my faith
At night i can't sleep becayse you stay on my mind
I lay still in the darkness and pray for you to be mine
I love you so much,always and forever
I pray for the day that we could be together
Next to you i stand and there i will stay
By your side at night forever i will lay
My love is unconiditional,my love is something real
Iwant to be with you forever,this is how i feel

Girl in the mirror
Across the room they seem to see
A smiling girl who looks like me.
With two huge dimples on each cheek
She laughs and talks, and always speaks.
She's the girl they think would have it all.
But inside her is where tears fall.
Inside her mask is where I dwell
This broken girl she hides so well.
I try to wipe her tears away
But they fall more each coming day
She tries to laugh when her heart breaks
But hurts with every smile she fakes.
And inside her is where I dwell

I've wiped away the blood
And covered up the scares
So many times
I can not count
I couldn't tell you why
It is just that I crave
The sweet taste of blood in my mouth
And I’m addicted to the pain
That comes with cutting
And I’ve fallen in love
With the scars that are unavoidable
Maybe it's just grown on me
Maybe I don’t notice
All the things I did before
But suddenly
It doesn’t seem that bad
The blood stains normally wash away
Off of my hands and clothing
And it is only myself, that I’m hurting
It truly isn’t all that horrible
I try to convince myself
In fact I like all the screaming
The fire in my veins
I do enjoy self mutilation
I have for years
But eventually
Just like every other addiction
There comes a time to stop
And time passes slowly
Without the taste of blood
Without the sensations
Of that steel blade
Running across my skin
But I know now, it is for the better
That I am more in control
Then I ever have been before
Maybe it actually is a good thing
That I’ve stopped my cutting for good
But oh how I miss it
And ever once in a while
If I allow myself to think
I’ll sit and crave for just one more cut
This is the inescapable haunting of so called
"Beautiful Cutting"

Trapped

It's sweet sounds echos lovingly
As i rise from my slumber it's your voice the first thing i hear
As i walk into your presence
I gleam with excitement

Today i cried,

even tho you lied to me,
It still was my mistake.
I should have trusted you,
but you shouldnt have lied,
maybe then,
i wouldnt have died.
