back when i first started my relm, and things werre actually going pretty well, there was a regular fighter i had. he learned to fight about as aggressivly as i do. he made a two handed blue saber to compete against my katana.
man fighting with him was so freaking intense. i mean, my current katana blade has lasted over a year, back when we were fighting i was going through one a month, fighting him twice a month.
i could beat him consistantly, but it was a challenge, i had to work for it. but really it was the intensity of the fighting that made it so great.
what i wouldn't give to find someone to spar with like that again on a daily basis. i'd be so happy.
anybody else have anybody they miss sparing with? good stories of matchups?

I haven't seen some good friends/fighters for a long time. One of them was wielding a huge hammer. Fighting him was fun cause it took us to the edge. We weren't easy on each other cause we knew what the other could take. Every fight was a knew challenge.

About a year and a half ago, before RAwharad was an official outpost, it was just me and thorn fighting each other. Then a guy came to join us, and soon grew quickly as a fighter and a friend. infact, other then thorn, he would be the only one I ever considered a friend. we would spar on a weekly basis, and go at it for a few hours. most of the time we would dual weild beatsticks, and the victor would change between each fight. Now he has left rawharad and returned to his home. whenever we practice, I look around the men and am dissapointed that that b*****d had to go.

I miss Rainson too...*tear*
I also miss Alexander too in a way. That boy can fight. He's a little bit of a leadership hog, but he's good at fighting, and he inspires the men to better themselves. (Something I cannot do).
I miss Urchin comming down to Rawharad's practices. For those of you who don't know, Urchin is the "Best Spearman in Dagorhir" He used to come to my practices and put everyone in their place...show them how big of N00bs they are. I'm not the best fighter, so I can't do it myself.

Yeah, I i guess I miss those guys too. I also miss the times when you were a better fighter, or the days that I was worse so you seemed to be better. The fights between us were more interesting back then.

One of my friends named Travis. We grew up fighting each other with sticks so we know each others moves. I brought him to Simterra once and we had some totally bad arse battles there. When it wasn't sticks, it was lightsabers, and we could pwn. God I miss it.

In the Larp I'm in, we can't have weapons, but there was another Larper that if he had stayed in the game (He moved away), things would have been rather interesting.
