Always something I wondered...
If Cloud and the gang were in real life, and in this time period, what would they be? I'll do one for Yuffie, I guess...
Yuffie would be from China, and she'd work as a hitman along with Vincent. That, or as a pop singer. She's got the looks and the behaviors of an Asian Pop singer anyway...
As for Vincent, he'd probably also be from China, and be either a hitman or a cop that got really messed up in the head after seeing his first partner, Lucrecia, die.
Just something I thought of, I dunno

if it were in real life umm the shinra company really wouldnt be as big as a company as they were.they would still be an electric company but just another one in the U.S.the turks would probably be a high level group in the FBI. thats what i would think.

Hmm... Cloud in modern day life? I'd say working for FedEx. 'Cept he'd be carying like... gold and forced to chop up attackers.

I think that cloud would have worked for the FBI but then he found out something that totaly crushed his dreams of being an agent and then became a Hitman.....and Sephiroth would probaly be an outlaw that was so tough he single handled halve of cops in california because he is that awe lol some

Aeris would work at a flourist shop, tifa would be a bar tender, vincent would be a albino with black hair that only came out at night, reno would definatly work for the FBI along with the rest of the turks lol, rufus would be president.

Ah, I got one!
Aeris would the daughter of a rich scientist and humble flourist. While she walks out one day, she gets kidnapped by Sephiroth, the gang leader of the notorious gang, The Seraphs.
Barret, the Chief of Police, would send Tifa, the main cop, and Cloud, her deputy, to look for the missing lady. Tifa likes her deputy, while Cloud was an old friend of Aeris her parent's became rich.
Yuffie and Vincent, two bounty hunters trying to find work, try and save Aeris for the prize money.
The Turks, apart of the LAPD, would try and take Aeris so that they could make them look like the good guys.
Red would be Sephiroth's dog, and Cait would be Aeris's cat.
Cid would be the evidence analyst alongside Shera.
Zack would be Sephiroth's right hand man in crime, and also has a small crush on Aeri despite knowing Sephiroth likes Aeris.
Yeah, I don't think I'm missing anyone. Booyaka!

Sephiroth would definitely be something super top secret... CIA or Secret Service, maybe, military, even a spy or hacker.

Nah, Sephiroth would still be Sephiroth. There's nothing in real life that could possibly compare to his level of "F#CK AWESOME!"-ness, so he'd have to be reverted to God of the Planet status.
Which leaves us normallers royally screwed. sad

Wessex Sephiroth would definitely be something super top secret... CIA or Secret Service, maybe, military, even a spy or hacker. Turks... definitely CIA/Secret Service Vincent could be an ex military turned hacker or working against the government somehow Red... He'd probably be in a zoo or something biggrin
