Okay, there are some rules that go along with this poem. I know what you're thinking: "rules are no fun... let's kick the fun-killer out!" But listen to me for a minute. The rules of this poem make it more fun and challenging to write. Now here are the rules:
A cinquain has 5 lines.
Line 1 is 1 word (the title)
Line 2 is 2 words that describe the title
Line 3 is 3 words that tell the action
Line 4 is 4 words that express the feeling
Line 5 is 1 word that recalls the title
Now alliteration is when your words start the same. ex: Sally sells sea shells by the sea shore...
Put the two together and you have an alliterative cinquain.
Now are you ready for the poem? Cuz' here it comes anyways...
