Is it bad? I know in the bible it says turn away from witchcraft and sorcery but what about this?
It's all extremly white magic, here are some spell examples:
A spell to make sleep better:
Allow me to fall into a blissful sleep
Where dreams will have me counting sheep
When I awake, I will have had some rest
To make me perform at my very best
To banish a curse:
Curses, hexes, and spells around
Blow away and hit the ground
You’re making life a dreadful chore
So disappear for ever more.
Or does it not matter what the spell does or how white it is, just no magic at all.
What do you think, what do you think god thinks?

"white" magic can turn "dark" with a few edits to that spell.
It all depends on where your faith lies. If you live by the book, then yes it would be very wrong.
If you life by your spirituality and your relationship to God himself, then i can't say for sure.

really a prayer and a spell are the same thing. words with meaning and emotion directed toword another 'source' of something to have affect in the 'real world'. magic isnt black or white. its more like a grey. its the user that makes soemthing 'good' or 'evil' by a social standard of whats acceptable and whats not.

I'm not a fan of Magic. Except when it comes to Street Magic, it's very entertaining but nothing more than a set-up.
Im not sure about White Magic...and spells. I have respect for it, yes. But God wants us to depend everything on him, so I really don't know.

Nuriko Ryuuen I'm not a fan of Magic. Except when it comes to Street Magic, it's very entertaining but nothing more than a set-up.
Im not sure about White Magic...and spells. I have respect for it, yes. But God wants us to depend everything on him, so I really don't know. Im a practicing pagan and have been for five years now. I follow no one set religion but rather have faith in what feels right. pretty much similar to the lines of the Wiccan culture but with my own twists and turns. i know a little bit about eveythinga nd have studied most of the major religions. I belive theres nothing wrong with magic so long as it harms none.

Magick, so long as its intent isn't anything malicious, is alright with me. Especially if said magick was being used in an attempt to better the world and help those around you.

All because of you...Witchcraft and sorcery is bad.
Witchcraft often involves some form of evil, and sorcery is where you're trying to play God in a way.
It all depends on what forms of "magic" you're using. From what you've shown, it sounds more like some simple meditation thing to me. ...I believe in angels.

i would stay away from all forms of magic white or black. dealing with powers not meant for us nor given to us by God can lead to trouble. i once went the route of magic. had a spell book, but turned away from it once i realized good intentions can easily turn bad. also had a cousin that played at magic & his story is more than i'll explain here. frankly not even sure if he's alive anymore. he played with many things. if God wants us to have powers of somekind, healing mental, etc, he'll give them to us. remember some in the bible were given gifts of healing & casting out demons.
