What would have happened if our heroes never defeated the all powerful Seprioth? Would he have destroyed the planet or changed it forever?
You decide for yourself what he would have done.

First of all, his name is spelled Sephiroth.
Not Seprioth. Not Seproith. Sephiroth.
But yeah. He would've become a godlike creature and would practically be able to do whatever he wanted with the planet.
Destroy it, use it, throw it, whatever.

Jetzudan First of all, his name is spelled Sephiroth. Not Seprioth. Not Seproith. Sephiroth. But yeah. He would've become a godlike creature and would practically be able to do whatever he wanted with the planet. Destroy it, use it, throw it, whatever. and that whole midgar area would be destroyed, not the planet, his plan was to damage the planet, and then steal it's life.

The real question is not what Sephiroth would do, but what Jenova, which is controlling him, would do. And she'd want to suck the planet dry like some kind of interstellar vampire and move on to the next one. Sephiroth is a useful vessel so she might keep him around, but he would probably get ditched somewhere along the way for a more powerful vessel.
Admittedly, I'd much rather imagine a half dressed Sephiroth reclining on a bunch of pillows letting me fan him and feed him grapes...but that's just the fangirl in me. redface

do not read this if u have not made it to cosmo canyon!!! does sephiroth run shinra? is so shinra would take over the world and there mako reactors would destroy the world like shown in the clip in cosmo canyon

Sephiroth is awesome and if he was the one that was victorious he probably would have ruled the world ruthlessly and if anyone got in his way he would have killed them without a second thought

Therefore he controlled her, and not the other way around.

Anyway.. Back on topic..
I think Sephiroth would try to kill every last human being on the planet. With Cloud and Company out of the way, it'd be a easy job. But after slaughtering each and every one, wouldn't him and Jenova get lonely?
Or maybe he'd just kill every president of Shinra thats elected. After all, they're the ones responsible for sucking the life out of the planet.
On that note, shouldn't Barret and Sephiroth kind of get along? I mean, they both despise Shinra for sucking the life from the planet.. One's just crazy and unstable.
