I have researched this topic a lot, and i wanted to have a discussion about how to controll Caulerpa taxifolia. One option is sea snails, but they are sooo slow that i dont think it is pheasable.
This algae came from someone fishtank. They decided to dump it into the ocean and then this plant became a menace. its in the guld of mexico and on the coast of california. It likes to destroy coral reefs and other habitats, all around it is just bad news.

I dont know... saltwater isnt really my area... but it seems interesting.... eek

it is very interesting, mainly because it means that the only way to deal with a poisonous killer algae is with sea snails...
