I think that EGL is the most beautiful thing in the world. No matter how ugly you are, put on a Gothic lolita dress, and cover your face, then you're super hot.

I, and most other people, learned of this style from japanese music called "Visual Kei."

Hello, my name is Maniko. I enjoy dressing up in my gothic lolita dress and going to the mall. I don't know why but people take pictures of me. I'm not the only one who does it. I have short bleached out blonde hair, green eyes, and I am 5'1". I joined because I love Lolita. (and lanzer fanboy looked like he could use some help.) smile

I joined because I know Kiwi and because I know Lolita. I'm not an expert, but I get around.
I may seem arrogant and snobby, but that's no reason to hate me. I really am quite friendly, and most of that "snobbiness" is really just me giving constructive criticism. Take it or leave it, just don't get offended.

Good morning everyone! I am Nanie!
I got into the gotic lolita style about six-ish months ago. I don't remember exactly how I got into it though sweatdrop Anyway it was after I discovered the wonderful style that I saw pictures Mana-sama. I have only seen a bit of Mana in performance (hehe, gotta love YouTube) but it what I saw was amazing.
Anyway I guess I joined to see what this guild would be like and, being someone who's been reading up on the style and other suches, I hoped to be able to help those who do not know as much as I.
I am trying to get a dress for myself (have been for a few months) and just yesterday picked up fabric and a pattern to use to make a dress.
I am an American, though Japan and the orient has been an obsession of mine since I was a kid. I'm trying to teach myself Japanese and am also a huge anime and J Rock fan (Gackt-sama = love).
So yeah, that's me! ^_^
