"Sweet.." A small smirk curved Claire's pale pink lips. About ten feet infront of the 18-year old red-head in jeans and a baby-blue tank was her best friend since elementary. Jaron was leaning up against a wall talking to some chick. Claire rolled her eyes and jogged up to him, jumping as he stood up straight and wrapping her legs around his waist from behind.

"Guess who?!" She smiled, covering his eyes with her hands.
Jaron pried her hands off his face and smiled at the girl, but she had left already.

"Why do you do that?" He groaned and leaned against the wall. More actually leaning against Claire who was leaning against the wall.

"Because it's fun... why else?" She smiled again and ruffled his short brown hair, pushing him forward to stand on the sidewalk. "Besides, you're a brother to me. I can't let you go off with some floosy." He made a noise at her and ruffled her own red hair in return.

They both stopped laughing as a police car, followed by an ambulance, sped by on the street, heading towards downtown.

She felt daybreak coming; Sherry then stood up cracking her fingers, slowly walking down the streets pulling at her long coat, her heavy guns mounted on her belt as her hair swayed back and forth as she walked. It felt so bright out especially with all the lights on.
