-You've been wandering for quite a long while now- walking blindly in a thickning forest of exotic plants and flowers. As you continue striding, you also realise that your sight is increasingly being clouded by a dense white fog. You hear the splatter of a stream, along with the buzzing of suddenly appearing insects- curious species of dragonflies and fireflies.
Abruptly, the fog clears-although you can barely see your own feet. A small glade has revealed itself- with even more eccentric flora. Flowers and plants in all colors-yet they all seem the same. Varying sizes from your smallest digit to your head. In the middle of the myriade of colors is a bubbling spring. It sits in a small basin made of natural rocks. The mist everywhere must derive from it.
Just when you are about to take anoter step for a closer look at the beckoning pool-You hear a noise. Your eyes quickly look for it's source-you find yourself surprised seeing another pair of vivid teal eyes staring back at you-
"Come with peace, I hail you...
Come with hostility-and it will be met with dire consequences."
~Muffled stomps are heard as the eyes dissapear-
though you sense the creature is still there~
"Choose wisely."

  Welcome! A journal, or information on both my hippogriff. Each of them will have their own posts- Biography, story so far, friends/acquaintances, personal thoughts, acquired items and miscellaneous photos.
I may also use this as a roleplaying thread-but ony for Heliacle and her friends. All the roleplaying would be taking place in the nebulous cloister alone.
*Only people Heliacle and/or Azhor have RPed with are allowed to post, plus Minyain, Fallen and Wings of Myth mule account.*

About
 
A stray, Heliacle has a bit of a harder time growing up compared to the other hippogriffs. She has found everything to be her first experience. Her knowledge of all isn't very wide, seeing as she is self-taught. Everyday, she still learns something new and she thirsts for more.
Rather hidden from the rest of the world, Hel is easily spooked or worried. She is cautious and always on the lookout for anything. The young female finds it sometimes hard to relax.
Her friends are few, and her enemies are none. Heliacle has found herself strongly attached to another already, forgetting about her first acquaintances. Kore is all she thinks about during her days and nights. She sees in Kore infinit wisdom which is still growing. Not yet mature and ripe.
Something else which has Hel's attention-an egg. An egg like herself, lost -or left behind. She's named it Azhor-and has dedicated herself to him.
Heliacle's goals in life- Raise Azhor to become a great and powerful hippogriff and to please Kore. Search for her tribe. Whenever she has spare time, she thrives to learn more-either alone or through her friend.

Friends and Acquaintances
 Calamity: The very first living being she has seen, the male hippogriff was her first friend. Though her mind is busy with other things at the moment, she sometimes wonder how he is. Last she heard, him and Kiyoshi were quite close and speaking of hatchlings already.  Kiyoshi: Calamity's bethrode, Kiyo is rather talkative and a happy hippogriff. Though Hel has only known her for a little while, she finds Kiyoshi a bit too opposit to herself-which is calm and quiet. But she does seem very nice and caring.  Kore: A touchy subject. Kore is the very first creature to have awaken perticular feelings in Hel's shaded soul. Emotions she has experienced for the first time. Very intelligent, very wise-Kore, to Heliacle's eyes, might just be what she has unknowingly wanting.  Azhor: She has named him- it simply slipped out of her mouth when she found him. Though only an egg, Heliacle has an attachment to him. Not like a mother, but more like a big sister. She's eager to see him grow up. One: she wont have to babysit him as she is right now. Two: maybe he'll be well educated like Kore and as tranquil as herself.

Story... So Far
-An outcast before she was even born-Heliacle (heh-lie-icle)was left in an old rotten tree stump. With no one to keep her warm and help her incubation-it took her a little while longer to hatch than the regular hippogriff egg. Finally, on a calm but warm evening-she did hatch. She didn't venture out very far the first day, everything being rather terrifying. But with little time she got used to her surroundings and also made a friend.
Calamity was intelligent. He knew all kinds of things, though he was only a day or two older-or so Hel would estimate. He told her abot flying-everything after that was a blurr. Only a few days old and she was practicing how to fly-not a flight feather on her.
Finally, her practice paid off and she did hover above ground a bit. And with even more practice-she could glide and fly. She stayed in the air for long periodes of times-never receding from the clouds. One day, while high in the sky- Hel's keen eye spotted a very odd color from the distance. Swooping down low to investigate-her breath was knocked out of her when she realises the gravity of her find-A hippogriff egg.
Without much thought, she took it upon herself to take care of this unborn and protect it. She's yet to even consider raising it-herself being a child and not having a mother or any parent at all. She quickly attached herself to it, naming it Azhor after deciding he was male- She just had a feeling. So, a shelter she hastily built for him.
One starry night, the moon bathed all of the fields-giving them a dreamy glow, someone else was in the sky with her. At first she noticed the other hippogriff had her own starry pattern splattered all over her dark midnight-purple body. Though Hel will always find the night skies beauty unmatched-Kore made her doubt. Though physically, she wasn't much different than herself and other 'griffs-the star-like markings of the female still stroke a string in her soul.
Now Heliacle has bonded quite tightly with Kore- and has rather dedicated herself to her and Azhor. Hel never thought of her life and her goals-being kept from the world and all it's wonders. All she has discovered so far are flight and love. Who knows what else mother nature holds for her.-

Story... So Far
Found by Heliacle when not even hatched, he was probably abandoned by his parents. Everyday he is growing in his protective hard, and colorful shelter, waiting for the time he will see the ouside world, and not just hear some of it muffled.

Personal Thoughts
Entry # 14 -I've grown! I'm now an adult! I feel as if my bonds have loosen and I can fly even further than before! And what a coincidence, Kore has grown too! She looks so beautiful with those golden stars spread accross her body like that... Er-ahem, Alas, the boys are still in their eggs-I hope they'll hatch soon. I'm sure they're both quite eager to come out. ~sigh~ I hope they're happy, the both of them. I think they're life will be better than mine- They will grow with other hippogriffs, not alone like myself... I will make sure Azhor knows the meaning of "love" before the meaning of "lonelyness".
Entry # 13 -I met Kore again, very odd how we run into each other at the strangest places. I was happy to see her and Elathan-we are both certain they will hatch soon.
...One thing though, Kore doesn't see me as part of her family. I hope she will, one day. I suppose, I'm happy to simply know that she actually has one. Plus, I'm sure she considers me a good friend.
Entry # 12 -I had an encounter with the most despicable little 'griff! He had so much sass... He was playing with an egg, as if it were some rock! I dont know what he was planning, but I scared him good. I also told on him-which was pleasing. I know, that was a bit of a childish thing for me to do-but that urchin was asking for it realy bad. Plus, a life was practically at stake.
Entry # 11 -I had a dream. It was strange. Everything looked very pretty, but still very strange. The colors were wrong, but still were beautiful. Kore was there-she was smiling. She seemed very happy. She tried to tell me something, twice. And I couldnt understand. She just laughed... I wish I knew what she was saying...
Entry # 10 -I finally saw Kore again, and she had an egg also! What were the odds... And she's even more attractive under the sun-erm, I mean. Her feathers and gold speckle pattern look pretty during day time...
*(later on, same day)-We played together. We chased fireflies. We ran in the fields, it was fun. We spoke a lot, and I find her even greater than before. Now I seem to have a hard time to sleep. As if I cant get o/ut of my head! heh...heheh. Strange, isnt it?
**(even later on)-She fell on me. Right on me. We were touching-one against the other. Feather to feather contact. It was very strange- a bit awkward. My heart was pounding hard for some reason... And my belly was churning, as if it was full of butterflies. And then, we... nuzzled. I know, I know! It's not quite right, it felt a bit strange, but it felt so good. So...right. I think I purred to. Is that normal? I get exciting shivers along my spine whenever I think of her now... Is this "love"?
Entry # 9 -Calamity gave me a fright today- I reacted rather more aggressively than I thought I could. Maybe I was being protective over the egg??? Anyway, he showed me his home. it was nice. I should find one too.
Entry #8 -I wonder if I'll meet Kore again... I miss her.
Entry # 7 -I've hunted my very first rabbit and with success! Seems I'm faster in the air than they are on foot on the ground...
*(later on, same day)Azhor is still in his egg-I think he's still alive in there. I say he because I'm sure he's a boy. Even though his color is a bit feminin.
Entry # 6-I found an abandoned egg. I looked around for it's parents-but didnt find anyone. It's still warm... I think I'll take care of it until I can find it's mother-Also, I named it Azhor...
*(later on, same day)-Kore keeps coming up in my mind... Wonder why?
Entry # 5 -I met another hippogriff-a female. She was special. She had stars on her body... I liked her. She was quite and spoke wisely. Maybe we'll be friends.
Entry # 4 -I actually flew... For the very first time, I know I can reach the stars. It was great-the wind rushing pass my beak and into amongst my deathers. I still need to practice more.
Entry # 3 -I met my old friend today-he has grown. I didn't recognize him a first, but his golden-wheat color gave him away. I beleive he will be very handsom when an adult. It it seems he's already found a mate-thought he's still so young... Kiyoshi. She's nice, I suppose. However, she has too much energy.
*(later on, same day)-Oh-And I also met another griff, sort of. I dont even remember his name. he was an adult! The first adult I see... He was very big, and grey. He was mean and childish. Even more child-like than myself. I didnt like that.
Entry # 2 -I've grown! I have long legs and flight feathers, like a grown up. Now I can run and really practice my flying. I also jumped today-almost 3 times my height. Practice makes perfect, I suppose!
Entry # 1 -Small shimmering jewels in the night sky. I've never seen anything so beautiful. I wish I can one day fly within them...

From Kore to Heliacle:
