Angel Valentino If no one is posting here... Go to this thread and chat... For some reason, literate roleplayers tend to culminate there. I shall search for other popular hot spots in different forums as well. We must expand our methods of advertisement and if players see three or four literates in one thread with the same link in their signatures... Who knows.

What if the duties were assigned to us, instead of being on a voluntary basis? That way we would know exactly what we should be doing. Or else, everyone might be on patrol at once, and that could be bad.

Luke Evans The following is nothing more than an observation and perhaps a suggestion from a lowly player who may or may not have stepped out of his bounds. Also, bear in mind that I'm not the least bit envious or bitter about Orthosie's latest promotion (which came as a shock, given the amount of time that's past between her other one). Really, congratulations on doing what ever it is you did to achieve it. At any rate, things seem to be moving too fast, promotion-wise.
A promotion is just that, a reward. It is a mark of achievement that one earns after proving him or herself and shouldn't be taken lightly, lest everyone be a general by the end of the month. As such, I believe they should be withheld until such an advancement is deemed absolutely necessary and earned honestly. Frankly, it's rather difficult to explain such advancements RP-wise when the person jumps from private to sergeant in one week. With that said I will step down from the podium and would appreciate what ever feedback everyone else has on the subject. By no means do I believe myself correct or infalliable. I make mistakes and hasty judgements from time to time.
Counter my point and I'll give you a pat on the back and a simple "Touche". After all, this is merely an opinion.

You're going to be promoted soon. Both to 1st Platoon and into Lance Corporal
Plus I'd like to have some ranking officers govern their stable.
It's mostly an authority issue. You've been helping me a lot (Hell, Paper and you would've been e5 by now if you joined at first).
But trust my methods. It'll prove fruitful.

I guess my only real suggestion, for now, anyway, is that, since we don't have a presence in Barton OOC any more, maybe we should make a recruiting thread in the Gaia Guilds Forum? I'd be willing to take care of that, if you want. I've already got a start on it, actually.
EDIT: Also, how about adding some more typical office positions, too? Management, accounting, etc. I doubt we'll get many applicants for that kind of thing, but it'd be more realistic, wouldn't it?

I couldn't think of a lot to say that wouldn't be more fully explained in the application form, so if you can think of any other pointers that you'd like me to add, I'll embellish them properly when I add them, ^_^;

Perhaps a more unique, melee MP unit could be established? They could buy a training sword or weapon with the gil when they had earned enough, and would only be moved into the unit once they had met that requirement.
This could be a primary group for those who wished to join the 35th and use Longarm weapons, or those who wanted to join SOLDIER and use swords or other melee weapons. It would also take a significant amount of gil so that they would have to be skilled enough or devoted enough to reach this level with the ShinRa.
Omega Company, Banishing Blades~ Or something of the sort?

I'm not sure about all the others but I have only just realised that I don't actually know what everybodys character's looks like eek I guess because we posted our profiles to our glorious leader they were kept from the public and other MPs/executives confused I may be the only person who sees this problem but it does make it hard to include other people in our posts, because of this I request the permission to post in the "charlie roster" simply to give all others an impression of my good friend;
