I was just wondering-- do you think that one is able to go to Heaven if that individual has accepted Jesus as their savior, but has not yet been baptised?

Yeah. I think Baptism is just showing other people you're a Believer or something, not required. It kind of confuses me, but I think you can still go to Heaven.

Baptism is more of a commitment to your church, and a symbol of what Jesus himself did to his diciples. Its just showing all that you are his diciple now. However if you aren't baptised and in your heart you love him and belong to him. He knows it. I was dedicated when i was small and baptised when i was 10. I don't feel any different, its just more for symbolism i think.

I am not sure. I know Baptism is a symbol that you are a follower of God til the end. Forgive me if I am wrong but when the priest dunks your head in the water and pulls you back up that represents the coming back of life.

That's not true. Jesus didn't baptise his disciples. He was baptised himself by the John the babtist (read the gospels). Babtism represents a commitment to God and if you want to take communion baptism is nessacarry. You won't go to heaven just because you haven't been baptised but you need to be baptised as soon as you become Christian. That is the first step into Christianity and should be done immediatedly. I was baptised at 2 weeks old.

Baptism means your being reborn in Christ. You only do it once because you can't be born again twice. If your a "Born again Christian" that means you baptised (I think that's what it means atleast).

It isn't needed to become a Christian, at least not in my beliefs. You are a Christian at heart. Baptism, (according to the readings of my pastor) is the washing away of sins so you can be baptised in the holy spirit. By doing so and being able to take communion and fully understand what it means to do so, you are becoming his disciple. Jesus washed the feet of his disciples.

John 13:1-8 "1 Now before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end. 2 And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him; 3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God; 4 He rises from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself. 5 After that he poured water into a basin, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. 6 Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter said unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet? 7 Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou know not now; but thou shall know hereafter.

And there is the proof for you. He didn't wash john the baptists, i never said he did. But all the other disciples were washed clean of sin...

John 13:15-16 "15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. 16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. "

And that is why he did it.
