Every week I make a wish list of the cd's that I am considering purchasing, and every week I try to get one new cd. I really need your help. If you know of any cd's that I should add to my wish list, please let me know. Either by posting your suggestions on this thread or by pming me. I listen to a broad spectrum of musical styles, so don't be afraid to suggest something just because is isn't electronica. heart ninja pirate

Hmm, how queer.

I'm working on a project with a friend, and recently finished my song-by-song review of HOTEL and my quick little paragraph on MEZZANINE

Of the other CD's, I've never heard them from beginning to end, so I wouldn't really know, but I definately recommend you buy Mezzanine.

Thanks jopwie, it just so happens that Mezzanine is on the top of my list for next week. But how come you didn't recomend Hotel? heart

The songs on Hotel are very predictable. It seems Moby has lost that... innovation and creativity he once was so full of sad He also does a LOT of vocals, a LOT, which is good if you like his voice, but horribly horribly disasterous if you don't. The album to me feels like he was having relationship problems one day, and went to the studio to deal with it.

Not sure what kindof music you're into. I recommend the Ahead music cd though. Some pretty awesome tracks on two cd's. Some you may recognize...some you may not. Check it out though.

Ahead Music
also....if you wanna sample some stuff from certain cd's...check juno uk.

Buy Mezzanine. It is ******** amazing, and probably something every fan of trip-hop or electronic music should hear. I have both Felt Mountain and Details in full myself, and they're both really good CDs, but I would recommend buying Mezzanine first because it's more...classic, I guess. P:

Thankyou everyone for your suggestions. biggrin They were all very helpful. Special thanks to Jopwie and Sparkling Fig Juice heart Since my last post I bought Massive Attack's Mezzanine and Frou Frou's Details. I love them both. Here's my new list. Goldfrapp - Felt Mountain, Morcheba - Big Clalm, Ivy - In The Clear, Emilana Torrini - Love in the Time of Science, and Lamb - Between Darkness and Wonder ( I got this last one from Jopwie's Lamb thread) I love that thread, everytime I read it it makes me smile heart Anyway, as usual, any suggestions will be welcome. This has to be the koolest guild. Thanks again everyone. biggrin

I dunno, I didn't like Lamb's latest album very much. It didn't seem very innovative to me, and some of the songs were just kind of too...syrupy for my liking...

Ohh I really hope you like it whee
From your new list the only one I've heard is the Massive Attack one, but Emilana Torrini is so awesome, her voice is just amazing... I'm saving up my money so I can buy one of her albums
