What do you think the perfect girl for Hiei would be like. I think it would be a petite girl. Not someone physically strong, but someone with a strong personality and a strong will. Maybe even a human, someone he could protect, someone innocent. I can defiently see Hiei as the protector type.

I can't really see Hiei with a girl either... Hmmm, I'll try though.
For some reason, I see Hiei liking a girl that can take care of herself. Someone who won't need to be watched 24/7. A person with a strong will and a strong personality (Like Tusyo said). She might need protection sometimes, but she can take care of herself when she needs to.

I agree that Hiei would want a girl who can take care of herself. I can easily picture him getting annoyed with the innocent, damsel in distress type. Hiei admires strength, both physical and mental, and it's obvious that he shows disdain toward those who he's sees as weak, like Kuwabara and Botan for example. Thus, a strong (and not just physically, but mentally), independent girl would seem like a must. The girl also would also have to be smart and mature enough for him to have meaningful conversations with. Hiei would also need someone who knows when to leave him alone and when to give him attention, otherwise the girl will get on the nerves of our beloved little fire demon. Finally, the girl would have to be absolutely, 100% loyal. Hiei takes loyalty very, very seriously and won't waste his time with anyone who breaks his trust.

Though I can't see Hiei with a girl,that is probably the next best thing.

I can see Hiei with a girl who is mainly passive, but when really annoyed can kick some butt. She would also have to be pretty good at catching hints.

O_< Mukuro!! Damn I hate her, she's the complete opposite of the type of girl I would see Hiei with. I pretty much hate her for one reason and one reason only, she likes Hiei. Everytime I'm reminded of her I just convince myself that Hiei had a temporary lapse of judgement, and it was only a fling. That's it.

I would sooner have Hiei with Mukuro than any other girl. She is a woman who can actually take care of herself, and would understand him.
However, I see much in the whole Kurama and Hiei pairing. Fox-boy would know when and how to soothe him, and would be mature enough to engage in decent conversation, as well as knowing when not to talk. He could open up the little fire demon, bit by bit, without him even noticing. And Kurama wouldn't betray him... that is, unless it was some sort of thing he owed someone, like the thing with Yusuke. I see that relationship as happening. It wouldn't be like a normal relationship, and wouldn't have all the strings attached. They could be bonded on a realistic level. So basically, "friends with benifits."
Most women, on the other hand, are overly materialistic, too much into vanity, or have some other sort of major issues. Or are human.

There is no reason to hate Mukuro, really. She is the only woman I believe Hiei would ever even consider being with. She slowly healed him from his pain, and ditto for him to her. I can believe that through healing each other a bond would form. And while on some occasions I support the pairing, I prefer Hiei with Yusuke. sweatdrop They're such a sweet couple. ^^
Oh, and as for the Mary Sue ordeal: xp Yeah, right. Nothing irks this yyh fan more than to see people pair animated version of themselves their "original characters" with Hiei or Kurama or whatver. Especially when they make them related to another character, IE Yusuke's cousin, Kuwabara's other sister, etc. etc. If Togashi wanted a Mary Sue in Yu Yu Hakusho, he would have made one up and stuck her in the plot. The only actual sue I consider for yyh as a whole would be Hinageshi from the movie. rolleyes I disliked her as well.

Personally I see I could see Hiei with someone that reminded him of his sister. I mean he really cares for her and I could see someone that unconciously reminded him of her attracting him.
