I originally wanted to hold a monthly contest, but at the moment I don't have the time to maintain one, and participation around here has gotten rather slim... I will, however, host contests of various kinds for specail occasions. This occassion is Halloween. ^^
Halloween 2006
The theme of the contest is Halloween. You may do any kind of fan work for the Ghost/EQ series you wish, as long as it relates to Halloween. Fan Fictions, Fan Art, and Avatar Edits are a few ideas of what you can do. Dress up the characters with your avatar edits or fan art, or create a trick or treat story or comic. ^^
Additional Rules:
1. Must fit into the TOS and GGN rules (ie. pg-13, nothing uberoffensive, and such)
2. Please, please check your spelling and stuff if you are putting in a written submission (ie. fic or comic).
3. Only one entry per member.
4. NO stealing of other peoples works.
Prizes:
Overall: October 2006 Thank You Letter
Fan Art: Fighter Ghost Sheet
Fan Fiction: Howling Ghost Sheet
Avatar Edit: Frightened Ghost Sheet
Animation: Monkey Ghost Sheet
Comic: Dumb Ghost Sheet
More prizes will be added depending on the number of participants. I will also add better ones, but again I want to see what the participation is like.

To submit your entry you may post it here, pm it to me, post a link to your ff.net, devart, photobucket, etc. account
If you pm it to me, please put 'GLA Contest Entry' in the subject line. If you do not have a way to upload your image/fic or whatever to a server, pm me and we'll see what can be done.

I have a question. For a picture for the homepage of the guild, would it be okay if I made a larger banner then 200 x 200? I was wanting to make one around the size of the banner in my signature, or this one-  I already made a smaller one, and started on another.. Once photobucket starts working right again, I'll upload the one that's done and post it so you can see it. (oh yeah.. if you can't tell.. I'm planning to make more then one lol)

Yeah, I guess it's okay to make one the size of your DN Guild banner. Just don't make it too much bigger k? It gets annoying when people have large banners and you have to do alot of scrolling. xp

Looks nice. ^^ If you want to make them as big as your DN one that's fine, but not too much bigger.

I figure that the prizes could go as follows:
First Place: Choice of Sept 2004 or Oct 2004 letter
Second Place: Whichever letter first place doesn't want
Third Place: 2k
Though, that depends on the number of participants. If after Oct, you are still the only one to enter, then you'll just be winner by default. If there are only two entries, then I'll only have one prize, and it'll be winners choice of the letters. If there are more than three entries, then I'll give out a first and second prize. If there are more than six entries, I'll give out all three prizes.
