I went to Montshire Museum in Norwich yesterday, and that inspired me to ask where your favorite spot(s) in Vermont or New England is (are).

My favorite spot in N.E. isn't a famous or tourist spot, its my grandpa's house in Benson, Vt. Its nice, quiet, and a beautiful spot.
I can't really choose a famous spot or tourist attraction because I haven't been to a whole lot in New England, and the ones I've been to I can't remember to well because they were grade school field trips. sad

As for me, I love to go to Wells, Maine. We have family near there, and it's a great place to camp. Plus, it's close to the beach...I love to go to the ocean.

Let's see... Echo Lake in the white mountians is a nice swim, and there are some hikes around there I like, such as artist's bluff. I have fond memories of winter activies when I was in grade school at Waterville Valley ski resort.

Sounds like my home's little boston accent "pahk the cah in the havahd yahd!" woo hoo! I've been to bar harbor once in my life...it was lots of fun!! Really quiet there, it was a nice change from the big city.

we have a little saying here at home, we take our R's, replace them with ah's (or H's), and we ship the R's to Rhode Island (rhode Islanders I've met overuse their R's!)

Hee hee, that's funny... Speaking of... speaking styles I being an otaku I sometimes accidently slip a Japanese word into my sentences... Oops!

Echo lake's a bit cold for swimming for my tastes, last time I went, I sat on the beach shivering and not able to move(after being in the water of course) but it's pretty there.
By the way, my lips also stayed blue for the next few hours xD Not healthy.
This summer I went white-water rafting on the Kennebec river in Maine, it's pretty there. We stayed on an island overnight too, and the water was really warm. We went to Adventure Bound, (with my Upward Bound group). I suggest it for any youth group-type trip, it's really nice up there.
