Sector 7 Cityscape and Slums
Primarily residential facilities. Not much to say about this place, although there is a lot of anti-ShinRa sentiments down in the slums. There are no mob wars or mafia members here - only the iron fist of ShinRa. The Bautista family also helps out on top of the plate...our informants are all here.
The plate-side is cooperative and the people are normally docile.
Careful when walking down from the elevators though...people DON'T like ShinRa in the slums here.

The lift smelled of garbage. Even before she had reached the slums proper, she had been hit with that disgusting smell again. Perhaps it was something she would never be used to. For the second time that day, Carilla stepped out of the lift and into the slums of Sector 7. She knew from the brief description that had scrolled across her helmet when she had received the patrol duty that this was supposed to be a relatively calm area.
That didn't change the fact that it was a slum.
While the thugs from the last slum she had been in were missing, there was still the aura of danger about the area. People were tough here. Their hard faces and cold eyes lazily scrutinized her. They spat as she walked pass.
This would be another long assignment.
Sighing, Carilla turned around and faced the boy (boy? he could have been older than her for all she knew) MP with her. "Is this your first time in a slum as well?"

Kennith looked round the horrible dump that was sector 7. Trash littered the streets but thats the way it was down here. The other MP seemed as if she had never been to a slum or at least ventured into them rarely. "Nah I've been to this sector many times. I lived in the slums till a sshort while ago when I joined ShinRa. It got me up out of places like this. Gave me a new life. Still you gotta love the people the earthy aromas." He said as he took in a breath of foul smelling air. "Just another day in the slums." He said as he walked beside the other MP. "What about you is this your first time here?" He asked unsure if she had ever even seen the horridness of a slum.

For some reason, she seemed to attract chatty boys. Or rather, she was teamed up with chatty boys. She didn't know if she could attract boys at all. Indeed, the way her uniform stretched over her slightly broad shoulders and tapered at her hips, she had a better chance of attracting girls.
A slum resident shuffled by, casting a greasy glare as he passed. Carilla eyed him and continued walking, noting that he was unarmed and in such a position that it would be impossible for him to attack with significant efficiency. She shook her head briskly.
Man, I'm really on edge today...
She continued scanning her surroundings as she followed the path mapped out on her visor.
"I was in Sector 8 earlier today."
It wasn't meant to sound curt, but she was afraid that she would come off in that sense. Had she really changed so much in twenty-four hours? A few weeks ago when she had gone through training, she would have never guessed she would see so much in such a short time. Then again, this was Midgar, the most populated city on the planet. Everything was bigger here; of course the crime rate was escalated. And of course the degree of violence involved in the crime was extremely high. Her hands shook as her grip on her rifle tightened.
She took a deep breath. This guy was impressionable; it was his first patrol. She couldn't be breaking up now. Once again, she reminded herself that she would have to get used to seeing the blood and gore. She turned to him and nodded encouragingly.
"I'm a seasoned pro."
Behind her helmet, she grinned despite herself.

Kennith walked beside the MP looking around at the faces of the people. Some were distraught aand others seemed to show hatred for them. It was life as a member of ShinRa. As he walked he remembered life as just an ordinary man trying to make some Gil. He had once been one of these people with their faces dirty living on the streets or even a home which sometimes wasn't much better. Very few people below the plate had decent housing only above the plate were people even remotely happy. However that was life and theres little one can do to change their station in it.
Kennith poped back to reality and decided now was not the propper time to reminice about time's past. "So how long have you been with ShinRa?" He only asked to make small talk because these long patrolls could get borring and he really didn't have any friends here. Kennith was the kiind of person who wasn't neccesarily shy but prefered work to hanging around doing nothing.
