....... I'm sorry if I seem like a terrible insensitive butt face, but I don't see anything wrong with this. They're killed to be eaten abroad. We abuse all the animals we slaughter in America. It's sickening and horrifying, but I won't sign a protest to save one animal from abuse when I've never seen a petition for the stopping of abuse on chickens. And we have no idea what not killing these horses will do to the livelihoods of the horse farmers, or what not kulling the herd like that will do to the quality of life for horse populations when the farmers are suddenly told, "No, we're not taking your extra 500 horses this year cuz killing them is banned". How will they feed and care for horses long term that thery were only expecting to keep for less than a year, most likely?
This is only my opinion. I hope everyone else so inclined helps the petition.

I hope everyone else so inclined helps the petition. I agree, I think they should, however, make a petition against Shark Fin Soup (stop laughing, because I know ya are). The catch the sharks, slice off their fins (while they're alive), and then dump them back into the ocean to drown......It's sick and very sad. Atleast with a horse, everything is used, and they're not mistreated like other animals are.

Atleast with a horse, everything is used, and they're not mistreated like other animals are. Now THAT is sick. And yes, I did laugh, but only because 'Shark Fin Soup' is pleasantly poetic. =D

I'm sorry, but that's the circle of life. If they're killed to be eaten, then there's no reason why you should stop it.
