Personality:Shift is reserved in almost all her actions. She has never been one for spontaneity. Shift prefers to keep her silence, though she has an opinion about nearly everything. She doubts her social skill to express herself. She has a certain lack of self confidence as well, caused by a socially deficient youth and not helped by the random appearance changes when she sneezes or has a bad case of hiccups. She is curious and bookish, and finds the social world endlessly fascinating but equally intimidating.

Power: Reactive bio-kinetic energy field: ability to locate and identify previously encountered energy signatures, capable of manipulating/redirecting energy waveforms

Personality: Tobias is eager to be able to control his powers, not to mention get on the frontlines. But at this point he is still frustrated at not being able to better control his abilities: even in Danger Room Sessions, all he can do is redirect active energy.
Appearance: Tobias is of an average height for his age, with short-trimmed hair. His clothing is in the modern styles of the time, made almost entirely from synthetics, including a short-sleeved shirt with an over-vest - reference the picture's clothing, but with alterations.
Bio: Growing up in a turbulent era, one of three children from parents (one of them a mutant) closely associated with the Institute, it was inevitable that at least one would go on to continue the fight. Tobias' joining the Institutes standing-force-in-training wasn't exactly voluntary, and that is reflected in his Name - it was a small joke on his part. As it stands, the source of his less-than-voluntary joining stems from his desire to question the how and why of things: especially when it comes to the war.
Other: Because his bio-kinetic field is so reactive, Tobias often has two problems: (1) he is almost always eating something because his metabolism is likewise overactive, (2) majority of the electronc technology that Tobias comes into contact with must be protected with redundant surge barriers or face meltdowns and burn-outs.

Power: Improved senses, eg. good hearing, the level of which varies. Sometimes there is little difference at all and other times it is good to the point of echo-location.
Level: 1 or 2. Alothough she can usually control it quite well, there are times when she totaly loses it.
Personality: By nature she is a confident and sarcastic girl who makes friends easily, but ever since her powers have started growing and getting out of control she tends to keep herself to herself for fear that being around other people might trigger one of these reactions. Still, she is friendly and polite when spoken to and has a charasmatic enthusiasm when she finds something she likes and becomes very friendly and jokey when she finds someone who shares her interests. She wants to learn how to control her powers, though she's a little skepical about their usefulness.
Appearance:
Bio: Though her power can't really be very harmful to anyone else (or so she thinks) it is very harmful to herself. When a sense becomes too good, well, just imagine a migrain time fifty. Her parents were both humans but as she was given up to mutant foster parents as soon as they found out, she was sent imedietly to the orphanage to learn control once she started having these problems.

Power: Twilight has the ability to manipulate shadows, she can shift their form to make weapons, darken or lighten areas of darkness or even phase herself through the shadows. Unfortunately she can not create darkness so tends to aviod well lit areas leaving some to beleave that she has sensitive eyes.
Level: 3 nearly 4
Personality: Secrative and quiet, Twilight finds it very hard to make friends and as a rule it takes her a long time to trust anyone, prefering at first to keep to the comforting areas of her dark world, but once you have befriended her a better companion you could not hope to find for dispite her shyness she has quite the sense of humor.
Appearance: 
Bio: Twilight doesn't remember her past, and what little she remembers she doesn't wish to share ... the only thing that she ever tells anyone is that she was abandonded as a child at the Xavior mansion.
