FUNimation made official confirmation they do indeed have the license for the Black Cat anime at A-KON in Dallas, TX. remember, with this confirmation you now have to be extra certain to not link to eps of the anime or sites with them for download. that violates Gaia policy and could get the guild deleted. EDIT(6-26-06): according to FUNi's Black Cat subsite ( http://blackcat-tv.com ) it should be out domestically by Christmas! I know what I want Santa to get me 3nodding EDIT(8-16-06): a tentative date has been set! December 19!

Awesome, I already own the DVDs in jappenese, but it will be great to watch it in english, I just hope the voices don't change much, or the ending theme XD

We no longer need to sit in fear while the potential of 4Kids getting their dirty, murding claws on it loomed in the air! cheese_whine I agree, 4Kids has killed everything. It's a miracle that Cartoon Network was able to pull Naruto before 4Kids, and having Black Cat not 4Kidtized is even better.

It would be kind of difficult for 4Kids to license Black Cat. How else could they explain to the poor, innocent minds that the lovable Train was once a killer? And the guns, lets not forget the guns....

Agreed. 4Kids wouldn't touch Black Cat because there is no way they could make it a kids show.
Although, personally, I'm not a big fan of Funi, either. I really hate some of the dub jobs they've done, like Case Closed (WHY did they kill the names like that? D: ) and oh GODS Spiral (they made a German character into a Southern Hick, wtfs).
At the least I'll rest assured that they can't really murder the names in Black Cat. (But I'm sure they'll miscast some really awesome character's VA.)
