According to Lanzer's latest journal entry the new version of fishing is coming. As far as I know, no one has any inside information about what it will be, but how about some speculation?
New fishing areas, new fish in the old ones, the quest for the angelic rod made available, an increase in frequency of rares, and the creation of seasonal fish are some ideas I've had. Does anyone else have some ideas? Do you think any of these ideas are more plausible than others?

xd New items in the exchange would be awesome. So would the mega lake have only rares in it and the crappy lake would have only trash? My, that would be very amusing.

My, that would be very amusing. no crappy would have uber cheap fish and are easy to catch (no rares) and Mega lake would have uber strong and expensive fish which are uber hard to catch thus the price of them

The marriage happened in the middle of the night for various reasons, so you probably weren't online anyway. xp
It looks like I got my answer to what will be in the new fishing version. xd I'm a little sad that the 'new' fish are just the old fish with different colors AND they didn't even bother to have the fish exchange ready for the new fish either.
