the last part of the soul blaze trilogy "Terranigma" <--- one of my all time fav
and lets not forget the Suikoden Series. well not SNES but part 1+2 are old school.

i was and still AM a big fan of Chrono Trigger... please can someone tell me on the next post why they stopped making the game? all i get is posts

may i just say, Phantasy Star 1,2, and 4 are so not praised enough for their brilliance... crying they are by far some of the best rpg's out there, and i am so bummed they stopped making the series after 4 (online does NOT count)

Has anyone here played Lennus 2? Lennus one was released in the US as Paladin's Quest, but L2 (which is infinitely cooler than 1) was overlooked crying .

Aqutalion Has anyone here played Lennus 2? Lennus one was released in the US as Paladin's Quest, but L2 (which is infinitely cooler than 1) was overlooked crying . ive never heard of it, i there an emulated version of it out there?

I'm still playing them with cartridges in a console, so I haven't kept up with emulators.

And just to mess with things, here's some more nifty old-school RPGs that probably no one has heard of:
Marvelous
Lady Stalker
Daikaiju Monogatari 1 and 2 (I heard of an english hack for 1, but I doubt there's an emulator version of 2 as the timing system would be pretty hard to do without a cart)
Hourai Gakuen no Bouken
Mystic Ark (sequel to Elnard/7th Saga)
Last Bible 3
I have more, but I haven't gotten around to playing them all sweatdrop .
