I will admit that I didn't recognize most of the those drivers' names because they raced so long ago. That is, besides Gilles Villeneuve but that's only because he's Jacques Villeneuve's father.
But when I saw Ayrton Senna as the final driver featured I flat out broke down crying. I was only 3 years old when that race took place but he was father's favourite driver. My father being the one who got me into Formula One, he's retold his reaction to said event as he watched the 1994 GP San Marino live many times.
Not to say that every single one of those drivers was amazing and deserve recognition, but Senna is the one that reminds me that Formula One is one of the most dangerous sports out there. And every time someone claims that auto racing isn't a real sport, I'll remind them that it is incredibly dangerous and that those drivers are some of the most physically fit athletes and the racing world's elite.
But my heart goes out to those that we have lost on the racetrack. If it weren't for them, Formula One wouldn't be what it is today. May they rest in peace knowing they'll never be forgotten.

I Agree With Every Word Of That. 3nodding Yes The Drivers Are Fit, They Have To Be. I Think They're Also Brave Doing What They Do And Id Say To People Who Put F1 Down, Id Say Could You Get Behind The Wheel Of An F1 Car And Go At The Speed They Do Knowing That It Could All Be Over In A Blink Of An Eye, They Couldnt. Formula One Should Be Given More Respect.

Formula One Should Be Given More Respect. Brave, yes, but those who race Indy and NASCAR have to be just as brave. Along with motocross, snowboarding, and most other sports.
When someone claims F1 and other motorsports aren't "real" sports, I just laugh and shake my head at how truly ignorant they are. Some of my friends have made comments like "It's just driving. I can drive. How hard is that?" And I mean, I can't blame them, they just don't understand how demanding the sport is.

The three most awful looking accidents on that video I think were Roger Williamson, Tom Pryce and Gilles Villeneuve, especially as you can see him flying out of the car in midair.
There was also a crash between Gilles and Ronnie Peterson in GP of Japan in '77, they crashed against each other and Gilles' Ferrari broke in pieces, killing two or three spectators in the process.
