just wondering cuz i know my grades have been lower than usual this year and last.....i used to get straight As in every class....now i get Cs....i know thats not bad, at least im passing....but im such a perfectionist, i hate getting Cs....its a surprise i even get that considering i missed about 20 days last semester, and about 15 so far in this semester....i miss so much work, but i have this special thing because im bipolar called an IEP....I get special accomadations like i can turn in work late for full credit and im exempt from the 10 absences policy and stuff....i think this IEP is the only way im gonna get through high school....

My grades were never good (after 1st grade) but when they put my on medication I stopped doing my work at all so they plummeted from B's to F's.

I've had semesters where I'm just not able to go to class cause it's so bad. If I went, I wouldn't even be able to sit through a class, literally.
My GPA sucks a** now.

I have big empty spaces in my memory of second semester last year. Like, I would go to math, and then walk out of the door only remembering that I walked in an hour earlier. I forgot which classes I had and where, who the teachers of the courses were, things like that. Moments of amnesia...god, it was awful. And, because I used to get straight A's from K-6th grade, I never got into good study habits (not that I would have been able to focus, anyway) and so that just dropped me even more. I ended up getting a pretty bad psychosomatic and was out of school total maybe a month and a half (a couple days here and there). Kinda screwed me over...but I've been working on it this year...getting mostly B's with a couple C's and just one D. I'm feeling pretty good about it, now, though I still get a lot of flak from "friends" who just don't get it and think I'm just a slacker and s**t. *shrugs* I'm trying, though... 3nodding

basically, i start out every year really good, and somewhere around the end of the first quarter i have some sort of mental breakdown. then, by the semester, when it's to late, i get back up again... and pass my classes (just barely). then i basically do bad to average the rest of the year because of on and off misery and drug this and "my boyfriend is boring" or "my girlfriend is engaged... to a guy!!! i knew she wasn't gay!" that... same thing this year, only since i have a steady boyfriend, it's "my friends suck a**!" or ... well, you get the picture. if i don't fail any classes this semester, i should graduate in june, and i have a 2.56GPA at the moment. i severely affects my grades.

My grades were much better before I started my meddies, mainly because I could actually stay awake and concentrate...and also my meddies took away lots of my creativity...boo hickey at the meddies...I'm struggling in college right now...and I'm currently manicness, even with the three meddies for psych reasons that I;m on...

I think my bipolar could've been one of the reasons why I was bad at school up until last semester. I think I got in my mind that I was too stupid to get any of it, so I just... gave up. I've overcome that now... which is good...

I have an IEP as well, but it's not because I'm bipolar, the school doesn't know that I am. My grades are usually all over the place, from A-'s, to D-'s, to F's. I don't care though, as long as I learn the material, and pass the tests, I'm fine. It's the homework score that kills the grades. I was held back in first grade, they say it's because of learning issues, but I don't think so. I think it was just my mentalishness. I don't really remember though, heh, I don't remember much of elementary schoool. I blocked it out. I usually stay home from school a lot, today I didn't go. Like, every 2 weeks, I usually miss a day or two. I just tell my parents I don't feel well, and they don't really care, they don't put up an argument. Or, they tell me that I can go back to bed until I wake up, and then they'll take me to school. So I just go back to bed, and sleep until school is over, then wake up. It works well.
My sister dropped out of college because of her issues, not quite sure what her issues are though.

I used to get straight As. Then it slowly fell down... to Bs and Cs. Now its even worse, I get the entire spectrum. I'll be lucky if I even pass history and physics this semester.

I'm not going to pretend for a moment I'm dumb, I'm quite intelligent compared to most of my school. But like my bipolar my grades are totally unpredictable. Also during school I get sent to the duty room, which is where all the disruptive behavioural problemed kids go to.

If I was given the option, no one would be able to do it unless the school could both cover the cost, and send someone to do the actual home-schooling. My parents aren't the brightest crayons in the box.
